I went Weinke -- I would be willing to cut the kid some slack with the hopes he develops. But then as I think about it, I guess our QB coach/Offensive coordinator isn't the greatest developer of talent, so does John Elway have any eligibility left?

I went with Mcnutt. After the so-so year Banks had in 01' I was a little worried about him in 02' but he turned out to be a gamer. I almost think we should take a chance with Mcnutt and let that F****R run around and raise some hell on the field, see what he can do.

You should have put a blatant "whomever hasn't played yet" as a candidate, since Iowa fans' favorite QB is the one who hasn't missed a pass...yet.

You should have put a blatant "whomever hasn't played yet" as a candidate, bince Iowa fans' favorite QB is the one who hasn't missed a pass...yet. I don't buy that tired old antidote. Most everyone I've talked to wants Stanzi back in there, even AFTER he threw two picks last week. Jake is just not a good QB, and I don't think any QB coach in America could help him.....maybe Dr. Phil, but not a QB coach.

In looking at the profiles of Stanzi, McNutt, and Christensen, their 40 times are almost identical. Isn't McNutt like 1-2 with one interception?

After Stanzi's performance against ISU, I gotta go with Jake the Flake. Stanzi let the little bunnies in his tummy jump around too much in the face of big-game pressure, which is a big no-no for a starting QB.

We have to go with the best guy at that time. I hope KF is over the "Kyle McCann Syndrome" and realizes that if a guy is sucking hard, take his ass out of the game. He has done that with JC and RS this year. If both suck hard, you must give Busta McNutt a shot.

Word has it that McNutt is working out at WR, and Vandenburg has moved up to #3, however hoping to keep the redshirt on him unless injuries happen. I was not impressed by McNutt when he came in at FIU.

Is Busta McNutt the next Eric McCollum? Or Jason Manson. I am just glad they are making the move now and not when he's a Senior.

Isn't McNutt like 1-2 with one interception I actually like stanzi alot better but I am just really curious to see what Mcnutt can do, whether it is wr or qb. Stanzi and JC may have very similar 40 times compared to McNutt but I can guarantee you they don't have the moves.

I'm gonna take the liberty to amend my position.
Christensen shouldn't see the field again this season unless we're up by 40 in the 4th quarter. It's time for Stanzi to learn on the fly. If he fucks up, so be it. He's the future (and the present), Jake the Flake is not.

I also took the liberty of amending my position. I would be VERY, VERY suprised to see Jake start this week. Actually, no, I take that back given KF and KOK's history of starting QB's that shouldn't be starting.
