Greene had no chance at the Heisman or even an invite as a finalist? Oh yea.....it was ME. I take all the back as he has proved me wrong aa season long. No running back in the big 10 (not beanie, not ringer, and not sutton) or the country for that matter means more to their team.

As I said, if he gets to 1,700 he will make it to NY. I don't think he will win over Mccoy/Daniels/tebow but you never know.

Really? I agree with the statement that he means more to his team than any other back in the Big 10, but the team is 5 and 3. Heisman winners are typically on BCS contending teams and National Champions. He certainly deserves some consideration, but I don't think he gets an invite to NYC unless they win out and go to a January bowl game. Seeing how they have PSU coming up, I don't see them winning out, thus no invite to NYC.

A Heisman invite would be great. But I really care about is that people and sports TV blowhards stop talking about Javon Ringer as the best RB in the Big Ten. Greene is head and shoulders better.

Before the season started, Beanie Wells was the best RB in the conference. I don't hear much talk about him anymore.

Although Donald Brown is 7 for 7 greene is 8 for 8. It's pretty much the Colt Mccoy show, although Tebow is doing well also. Another thing, I don't think I could figure this out but, look back over the last 8 or 10 Heismann votes. Look and see if the top rusher in the country was ever excluded in the trip for NY. I don't know but I doubt it. If you can be the top rusher in the country how could they not invite him to NY?
