I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Greene's last few games lead me to believe there is a good chance he will go pro and we will not have him next year.
The other piece of bad news is that he and Hampton have completely coverred up O'Kweefe's lack of talent the past few weeks. When the D is only staying on the field an average of 5 or 6 plays per drive and the RB's are combining for over 200 yards and multiple TDs, the offense will look good. But the problem is, we all know what O'Kweefe is capable of. Think back to his QB keeper call a few short weeks ago that went for a lost fumble. Or the series against NU where we couldn't punch it in. These past two games have given Ferentz enough ammunition to say "O'Kweefe stays next year - he's one of the best in the country."

think of what this year could've been though had Iowa not lost those 3 games Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda. I did think it was damn funny at KF presser after the game when someone asked him about the toss sweep and KF pointed out the fact that KOK called that one. Classic!

Hey coach, leave that toss sweep in the book and call that fucking bubble screen like you did on 2nd and 14.

if anything, Greene is helping Iowa to make high profile backs take a look at Iowa and say "hmm, might wanna go there instead of another place if this guy's a heisman contender coming out of nowhere". I'd much rather have Greene go pro and have a terrific season and get invited to new york than have an average season.
