This looks like a start, kind of wondering what you guys would think would make the ultimate sandwich (not taking health into any consideration). I'd definately try this one.

How Paula Deen or her family hasn't suffered a heart attack is beyond me. Some golddigging asshole is going to come along and sue her for eating the shit she makes. On a side note, this is the Emmenecker from Jethro's here in Des Moines. It's pretty insane. I got through it, though.

Jethro's is a BBQ place...it's actually a white BBQ sauce that's delicious.

What is all of the fried goodness on the sandwich?
One night when I got home all muffed up last fall I made a sandwidh with a burger, two eggs, bacon, shaved turkey, american cheese, pepper jack cheese, peanut butter, barbeque sauce, hot mustard, mayo, honey, grilled onions, jalapenos and cooked it patty melt style. May sound gross but it was actually pretty good.

From their website: The Adam Emmenecker The Missouri Valley Conferencemost valuable Player of 2008 loves this sandwich. It's big.. "really big".. just like all those really big shots Adam in the Bulldog's magical MVC Championship Season of 2008. Start with our huge tenderloin, add our Angus steak burger, top it with a slab of Texas brisket and apple wood bacon, finish it with buffalo chicken tender, smother this mountain with melted cheddar cheese, and white cheddar sauce, serve it with your favorite choice of side. This could hurt you! A sandwich fit for the MVP. 19.95

Technically a burger, which still qualifies as a sandwich. This comes from the Heart Attack Grill near Phoenix, AZ: Also available at the HAG, free eye candy:

I've been to Hickory Park a few times but didn't know of the Garbage Burger. I guess I already know what I'm getting next time I visit.

I lived in Nevada for a year and frequented Hickory Park. Never could pass up the smoked meat for a burger there. My father-in-law got one once, though, and it looked pretty tasty!

Has anyone ever had a Monte Cristo from Bennigan's? Basically a large club battered and fried, served with some kind of berry flavored sauce. It's pretty good but I pretty much feel like I'm going to need a triple bypass surgery every time I eat one.

The Monte Cristo is pretty good, as far as I can tell from the few bites I've had from other people's sandwiches. I can't handle more than a couple of bites, though.

Never had the Monte Cristo, but have heard good things about it.
On a side note Twine, if the "sandwich" (as posted above) can be used as furniture, it's no longer a sandwich. That is just a solid collection of meat and fried goods.
