Do you partake in manscaping? Why or why not? Do you have any funny/good stories, personal or first-hand? Please share.

the only place I manscape is around the wiener region. it makes it look bigger and the ladies will thank you when they don't get hair in their mouth's. We've all had that happen before and it ain't all that fun.

Manscaping: To groom a man. Shaving, waxing, cleaning up the superfluous fur.

I meant that pubes in the mouth are annoying regardless of gender. Some ladies still need a weed-whacker to trim their lady region.

We've all had that happen before and it ain't all that fun. That's not much of a problem in my house (Except for 3/14 . I "manscape" to an extent. But I'd call it "Dingleberry Prevention" / "Snaggy Sac-Hair Eradication". As the act isn't meant to impress anyone. I put it in the level of wearing clean underwear. When the random hairs start snagging or when it takes more than a few wipes... it's time to break out the wife's razor & Revolt.

Heck no. That is what makes a man, a man. Penis/Testes make a man, a man. More specifically a Y chromosome. Since I started the thread I will chime in and up the ante. Let me preface by saying that I am hairy, all over. I do manscape. I will occasionally shave my back because it is hairy, really hairy, and I am only 25, I feel the "best" is yet to come. I've even let/requested from my girlfriend wax it. So she did, but she didn't enough of the wax strips. I was left with patches, I was also left with red bumps, that was an unsuccessful session, I'll stick with the razor from now on. I also do the down there. It is simply common courtesy/reciprocation. If you expect your girl to, shouldn't you? No need to use a straight edge/mach III on the whole deal, just keep it nice and trimmed. MachIII on the scrotal are is a good idea, the skin is pretty resilient, I'm sure a lot of you don't do it because you are afraid of cutting yourself, but I never have with the machIII or any other straight razor. The rest of the area can just be gone over with an eclectic trimmer. That has resulted in the only "injury" I have received. I had a new electric trimmer and got a "pinch" on the scrotum, there was a little blood, it didn't hurt too bad though. The skin in that area evidently heals quite quickly and that nights performance was not hindered.

Teste hair definitely gets the shave-er-roo.
A nair application every other month to my back is fun too.
Damm middle age...can't grow hair where you want to and can't stop it from growing where you don't!

No. If I looked good with my shirt off I might consider it. It isn't like I do this all the time. I haven't done the back since the waxing incident, over a month ago. Also the gf likes the chest hair, she thinks it is sexy and manly.

One of the guys I coach with gets his back waxed in Iowa City at least once a month. He goes to a beauty school and the students practice on him.....I may consider it if I start to grow a vest like his. As for me, I have had a nurse shave my balls once.

A little trim up here and there is fine, but those guys that shave their chest down completely....I don't get it.

UGH, or worse, I was playing basketball and guarding a guy that shaved his arms. He obviously hadn't done it for a few days as his arms we're all stubbly. Maybe, MAYBE, if I am a competitive swimmer.

Just a little bit down there... that's the way the wife likes it. Nothing too excessive though.
By the way, did anyone's font just change, or is it just my computer??

I feel that this thread violates a Man Law of some sort.
That being said, I agree with Dug, if you want your girl to do it you might as well do it too. And I can see why some guys shave their chest. I have to shave mine b/c the hair comes in weird.

Nothing wrong with trimming the hedges. No need to bic it in my opinion, but a little manscaping earns points with the ladies.
