I also noticed that our front 7 was a bit weak against Minor. I'm a bit worried about the Wisconsin RB who seems like he could rack up some yards against our front 7. Norm doesn't seem to substitute on the line at all (I haven't seen Daniels in a game for 2 weeks). These big RBs could get big yards in the 2nd half if our front 4 gets worn down. LP, I thought the same thing watching the game and I don't know if this is true or not but Marv Cook spoke at the QB club Monday and said that had a lot to do with our LB's playing deeper then normal to take away the short passing game. He said that was part of the plan to make Michigan beat us on long drives and not give up big plays on the back end. Again I don't know if this is true but I would guess that Marv knows more about what goes on then most fans do. I guess we will find out on Saturday because I know we will be trying to shut down their run game 1st and foremost.

Well, that would make sense, and I'll admit I was a little too drunk at the ballgame to notice a yard or two difference in the LB depth. Plus, you have to remember that they showed a bunch of read option looks and we have always been somewhat deficient in stopping those. SoCal- I get home this week, no need to send the games.
Was wondering when we were going to start running the ball effectively. Given the line is essentially the same as last year, I figured we would be running for 200-250 a game. Guess SG was just that good, but the holes he ran through last year were huge, this year not so much. Of course, getting to and even recognizing those holes as they open is a artform not appreciated by most. SG definitely had that ability.

KF said in his Presser that the tape wasn't as bad as they thought it was going to be. I think that means that the OL did OK but the RB's didn't hit the holes that were there. I think BW had a more then a few runs that he tried to break outside when there were lanes open inside.

I'll bet against Iowa again to keep the streak alive.
This football season is costing me more than my fucking ski passes did.

Hell, he didn't even come close on the over/under either......
Watched the Wisky game today. Iowa running game is opening some holes, but RB's are slow to exploit. Protection was pretty god over all for Stanzi. This team is pretty good...
