At 12:01, you receive an email from 'doofus' At 12:02, doofus calls and asks, "Hey did you get my email?" I just had a client do this exact same thing. Get an email and as I am opening up said email, the phone rings asking me if I had time to read the attachment and arrive at an opinion. WTF? I can read fast, but not THAT fast. This is also the same guy who has about a fifth of the business with us as most others, but expects us to drop everything else we are doing to help him. And if you don't return a call or email within about 7 minutes, he is calling the office again. Maybe I could add this to the "thinning the herd" thread...

My biggest work gripe is that liberals (lower case) don't do any of it.

My biggest work gripe is that liberals (lower case) don't do any of it. Bullshit. We gripe as much as you do.

All he does is get on here and bitch about liberals. Hey dude... get a life. btw, liberals isn't a proper noun. So you don't need to type (lower case) like an idiot everytime you use the word. on topic: This morning I got an email, then a phone call, then the same guy stopped over. All within about 5 minutes, and he said the same thing each time. He's a dipsh*t, so I am used to him doing annoying things. Kind of like a certain Iowa Fan I know of.

it's not really a big work gripe, but it just happened so here goes:
The word "webinar" is used to described a web based seminar.
I went to one of those webinar circle jerks an hour ago, and the person organizing it said "webinar" about a thousand times.
webinar webinar webinar webinar
It got pretty annoying.
Not quite "sf values rice a roni pelosi" annoying, or "liberals (lower case)" annoying, or even iammereverhawk's "carbon neutral greenhouse gases don't exist" annoying. Just amusingly annoying.

A simple "Thank you Iowafan1" for setting your dumb ass straight will suffice. The whole lower case thing is to emphasize the complete insignificance of the socialistic (lower case) liberal (lower case). Now go to Mommy and tell her Iowafan1 correctly taught you that liberals (lower case) suck ass.

Back to topic...
When people say "i'll keep you posted" or "i'll follow up", yet they never, ever do that. It's just an automatic response from a lazy ass.

When bringing a suggestion, or checking status on something to upper management, getting a response like "well, there's a lot of moving pieces to that", or "let me see if we can get some traction on that"... ugh, I hate corporate-speak.

You should reach out to them and schedule a webinar about actualizing a paradigm shift.
