"Raped by a pack of n!883rs?"
Who the fuck even thinks of shit like that. You've got to have some serious issues to have that shit on the tip of your tongue.
It's funny because its so over the top outrageous in a kind of Michael Richards totally losing your shit kind of way, but it certainly does indicate, as has been noted here, that Mel is a fucking douche and unworthy of any respect whatsoever.

I think its funny how Mel is supposedly ultra religious and a Super Catholic. It's always the really religious ones that are consumed by hate and judgment.
This loser isn't worthy of any more of our discussion.

This loser isn't worthy of any more of our discussion. That, my friend, is as predictable as the sun setting in the west. There's a direct correlation between how psycho-religious a person is and how big of a petty cocksucking asshole hatemachine they are. Which is odd, because I grew up Catholic and I was under the distinct impression that Christ was a rather loving individual.

It seems to me Christ lived by more of a Buddhist/Taoist way of living than that of the beliefs of Christians as we know them today.

Intolerance and elitism is why I'm not a fan of some Christians. I think some atheists seem to be in danger of reciprocating that same intolerance/elitism with some of your tangents. Most of the Christians that I grew up with went to Church, but weren't preachy about it. If it makes them feel more comfortable thinking there is a wizard in the sky...well that's fine. I know most of you are probably just talking about the nutjobs, but careful not to paint with a broad brush.

There is nothing wrong with blanket statements, or painting with a wide brush, or making generalizations. You just need to know how to interpret those statements, realizing there is variation in everything.

You just need to know how to interpret those statements, realizing there is variation in everything. Please enlighten me on how I should interpret a statement, such as, oh I don't know... all people from small towns are red necks. Or how about all atheists are ignorant. Or all Christians are self-righteous pricks. I'm far from PC, but when somebody throws a statement out there like that, and they truly mean it, I find fault.

It really isn't that hard. We both know you aren't stupid. If I made the statement, "Asians are short" would you call that statement incorrect because Yao Ming is a really fucking tall? I no, you would agree, because asians tend to be shorter than the median. Yao is an obvious statistical outlier.
Now in your example "ALL people from small towns are rednecks" is incorrect because of the qualifier "ALL". But we both know because we are from small towns that not everyone is a redneck. For example, I am not.
Now your turn to interpret this statement: Everyone from Montezuma drives old Camaros, and sports a mullet. (hint: this statement is pretty much true)

Opinion + blanket statement = danger As for the the Montezuma stereotype, you fucking forgot the Metallica t-shirt too.

I drove through Montezuma on Sunday after going to my cousin's place near North English/Millersburg. I can't believe I once thought it was a nice town when I was a kid. What a fucking dump. Talk about a prollish town, that's it for sure. If it weren't for Lake Ponderosa that place would really blow.

I still don't think Montezuma is THAT bad. At least the main part of Monte looks ok. It has the courthouse, a few ma and pa stores. If you want a true shit hole, drive through What Cheer. But truly the town of Delta takes the cake.
