Why doesn't anyone think we can beat ISU? I think we fuck ISU up this year. The worst Iowa team in a fucking decade lost by three to ISU, and they're fucking worse this year. New QB, first road game= not good. I just hope that whoever the new QB is, that even if he sucks ass Kurt sticks with him. The last thing we need is Kurt listening to boo birds and demands for the backup because it has the potential to end up like the Greg Davis hire. I'm still pissed that the guy ran fucking Christensen out of town.

Well in Kurts defense both NW and ISUck have been light years above their historoc performance levels the last ten years.

I mean the addition of the 12th game added a cupcake that has helped. And then maybe they have picked up another W or 2, but take out all the cupcakes and the fucking wins against Iowa and those programs look a lot fucking worse.

Riddle me this: If Kurt was the coach at say Nebraska, Oklahoma, Tejas, Wisconsin, Michigan or OSU, how many years of losing to one or both of Iowa State AND Northwestern would they fucking tolerate? Those are two shitbag, cellar dwelling programs and the GUY HAS NEVER FUCKING BEAT THEM BOTH IN THE SAME FUCKING SEASON. Jesus H Christ. Four fucking million bucks pissed down the leg.* * I did not "piss on my leg" rather I "spilled some piss on my leg" - two different things. KF develops the shit out average players. Give him a recruiting advantage that the schools you mentioned have and he has at least 2 or 3 NC in those 14 years.

Hilarious. Kurt's desire to never take a fucking risk other than a purely idiotic one would have him run out of 'Bama after two seasons at best. Now Hayden, yeah, that fucker would have won some serious hardware at a recruiting powerhouse. He would have shit a few down his leg, too, but at least he would have tried.

I think that's what I liked best about Hayden. He lost in such entertaining ways. Not so much with KF.

I agree with both of youse. I remember some heartbreaking losses during Hayden's run, but very few of the puzzling & embarrassing variety. Ferrets has not only broken my heart too many times, but he has embarrassed the fuck out of me in the process.

Let's do this the correct way. 08/31/13 vs. Northern Illinois in Iowa City: W 09/07/13 vs. Missouri State in Iowa City: W 09/14/13 vs. Iowa State in l'Ames: L 09/21/13 vs. Western Michigan in Iowa City: FUCKING LOSS!! 09/28/13 vs. Minnesota in Minneapolis: L 10/05/13 vs. Michigan State in Iowa City: W 10/19/13 vs. Ohio State in Columbus: L 10/26/13 vs. Northwestern in Iowa City: L 11/02/13 vs. Wisconsin in Iowa City: L 11/09/13 vs. Purdue at West Lafayette: W 11/23/13 vs. Michigan at Iowa City: L 11/29/13 vs. Nebraska at Lincoln: L I honestly think 4 wins is the ceiling this saison. Ferrets is teh suxorz. How many times has Ferrets beaten Western Michigan? Yeah... exactly. Fixed.

08/31/13 vs. Northern Illinois in Iowa City: L 09/07/13 vs. Missouri State in Iowa City: W 09/14/13 vs. Iowa State in l'Ames: L, prolly 13 points scored all game 09/21/13 vs. Western Michigan in Iowa City: FUCKING LOSS!! 09/28/13 vs. Minnesota in Minneapolis: W 10/05/13 vs. Michigan State in Iowa City: L 10/19/13 vs. Ohio State in Columbus: L 10/26/13 vs. Northwestern in Iowa City: W 11/02/13 vs. Wisconsin in Iowa City: L 11/09/13 vs. Purdue at West Lafayette: W 11/23/13 vs. Michigan at Iowa City: L 11/29/13 vs. Nebraska at Lincoln: L
Not a troll job, but I don't see more than 5 wins max. How some of you people honestly see 7 or even 8 wins is baffling.

If it hasn't, then maybe you're right. I think we are good enough to go 2-0 in the MAC this year and add a W against clown college and a paltry 3-5 B10 record (not that hard) and we get to 7. But of course, if we lose to NIU, I think at best we are looking at a 3 win season.

Yeah, Western has a new coach. My sister works at WMU so I hear way more info on MAC football than anyone ever should. Even worse when a MAC team OWNS a B1G team on a consistent basis.
WMU 24, Hokks 18
And the only fucking way we win 7 games is if you count last year's win total with this year's.

I am refraining from an official prediction this year. But if cornered and forced to make one, I will say you can tell after the first 60 minutes of the season. If we beat NIU by 13 or more, we win 7 minimum, with an 8th surprise win as a possibility. If we beat NIU by less than 13, we win 5. If we lose to NIU, we win 2 or 3. Man, had the offense looked good in that second half, I would have felt good about that 7 win projection I made with a big win over NIU. This ball club is bad, but I don't know that it is going to be 3 win bad after seeing some of our opponents over this past weekend so I'm kind of having second thoughts about going so low. But I must stand by my prediction. Surely, now that there is film on Jake, he will be quickly exposed and we will be fucked. MSU, Minny and Purdue all look pretty fucking sorry, though.

I say we might sneak 6 wins but we will have to beat ISU in Ames in a couple of weeks which I have no confidence in us doing.

Back to my original 5-7 prediction. Although 4-8 would not be surprising.
