It's one of the most well produced shows I've ever seen. McConaughey and Harrelson are at the top of their games. Lemme guess, ain't none of y'all proles got HBO, right?

Here's my question - is this thing gonna get wrapped up in one season or after seeing the popularity, will they just go ahead and say "fuck it, let's stretch this shit out for 4 seasons until it officially jumps the shark?"

This cast will only be for one season. The case/story will be tied up at the end of the season. The second season (which I would be shocked if there isn't one) would be a new case, new town, new cast.

For someone who loves the show you don't know shit about it Brah, there are all kinds of shows that get a one year deal signed and then the show is a hit and they rejigger the last two episodes, leave a shitload of plot holes and do whatever they can to keep the money train running.

It's not a one year deal, it was a script that was written to only last 1 season. Everyone knew that. If they do it again, it will be completely different.

Thanks for all the info, guys. I figured it was an encapsulated script, but TV producers have completely jumped the fucking shark and I wanted to make sure I wasn't fixin' to get into some fucking giant plot twist that was funna have the current two characters turn this shit over to the state, then three years of plot holes introduced by a midstream change of plans and then the whole thing finishes sometime in 2018 with the current two guys coming back for the finale or some shit. I'm glad y'all have researched this and assured me it ain't gonna happen.

Shows like this and the ginger mentioned Break Bad make me want to punch anyone in the face that thinks some show on the networks is "Great".
This chick in our office thinks The Blacklist is the greatest show lik ever. I just laugh in her face.

This chick in our office thinks The Blacklist is the greatest show lik ever. I just laugh in her face. I've never watched Breaking Bad. Someone mentioned True Detective to me the day after ep 1, I watched it on demand and now for the first time in over a decade have a standing show that I absolutely have to watch. I like Workaholics, too, but I just wait til that shit comes out on Prime and watch a bunch at once. Same with the League.

Save your breath, Scoot. Bonez has no fucking idea what a torrent is; he can barely manage to make and receive calls on his "smart phone", let alone jockey a PC into 2014. Pshh. Torrenting is so early 2000.

You know what I'm talking about there, egads? Miller tweeting about watching the first episode of Breaking Bad the other night? That's a lot worse than someone tweeting about a game they THOUGHT was live but was a replay.

I liek it. The acting is superb. We haven't watched the 3rd episode (from last night) yet, so don't drop any fucking spoilers in here you filthy slobs. U R gonna totes enjoy Rust Cohle's critique of the religious folk.
