It amazes me that ppl still eat fish from poisoned water. Mmm-mmm, atrazine flavored fish, my favorite. Haet to break it to you but just about every fish you eat -- whether locally caught or from the grocery store -- is tainted to some degree, mostly mercury. BUT EACH MOAR FISH!!!!! Exactly.

I ate halibut in Loveland, CO at the home of Ernest Hemingway's cousin. He had just gotten back from an Alaskan fishing trip and we had a BBQ. His wife was an old family friend. I grew up with his cousins kids so he was asking me a lot of questions about them. It started raining hard so he was out on the patio in a raincoat and one of those New England style rain hats cooking the halibut with a glass of bourbon that was getting watered down from the rain. The halibut turned out great.

When I was 14 I went deep sea fishing off teh Otter Banx, but got sea sick about 20 minutes into it, and was hugging the head the entire 6 hours.
I did get to chop up frozen squid tho.
