I really hope she doesn't represent Iowa in the Senate. If so, she will probably make a presidential run ala Michelle Bachman in 2018.

Very similar to Palin trying to come up with a name of a newspaper she reads. In over her head, and east of I-35 people will be like....who the hell is this redneck from Red Oak?

Yeah. Read this from the Des Moines Register "Joni Ernst, who highlighted her ability to shoot guns and castrate hogs to overcome disinterest in a sleepy primary election, dominated the field to become the first female GOP U.S. Senate nominee in Iowa history."

That was pretty close to being decided via convention. Yeah, I just saw that. Crazy how few people voted. I think she would have won the convention bince Iowa ain't ever had a female representative. She stopped here for a meet and greet and probably cleared a few grand for 30 minutes during a lunch meeting. Seemed nice enough, but just like all politicians, had just a macro talking point list and little grasp of nuanced details. Shit is scary.

The pig castrator will win the western and southern counties but will fail miserably in the metro and Ames (clones are at least good for voting democrat) and Braley's territory in the east.

People who have a grasp of nuanced details aren't generally cut out for politics. Mindless slogans and thirty second ads. That's what we get, cuz that's what the proles are willing to eat.

There's more hogs than people in rural Iowa. She sure as shit isn't gonna win the hog demographic. She'll win the DERP demo though. Fuckin' Clowns.

As a Democrat you must feel like your dining at the worlds largest smorgasbord. You're the one supporting a party led by certified fucking morons conning a bunch of racist simpletons with a flamboyantly hypocritical power base in a collection of taker states. You voted for a ticket with Sarah Palin on it. Also. Ponder that shit for a minute.

U mad Braley? Harkin has refused to transfer money from his $2.4 million campaign account to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, according to sources and campaign finance records.
Instead, the retiring Iowa senator has informed party leaders that he plans to use the campaign funds for a charitable contribution to an entity that bears his name: The Harkin Institute for Public Policy and Citizen Engagement at Drake University in Des Moines
