Jesus. Sweet Jesus. I love how the announcer asked him who his favorite Sox player was growing up and instead of saying Carlton Fucking Fisk or maybe even throwing out Minnie Minoso, he had to finally admit that he grew up in Kenya. Can y'all imagine Dubya strolling out to toss the first pitch at that first Yankees game after 9/11 wearing a fucking Rangers hat? Carlton Fisk didn't play for the White Sox when he was growing up, he played for the Red Sox. Some sports fan you are dipshit. Yeah, I know and Minoso only played sporadically for the Sox in the time Soetoro was a kid. But those are the only two fucking guys post 1950 pre 1990 that pretty much anyone who has been to a Sox game in the past 15 years can easily name. There's a giant fucking statue of Fisk, so it's pretty god damned hard to not even be able to toss that out. The Sox were pretty shitty for a long time so it ain't liek how you and me can readily toss out Ozzie, the Big Hurt, Jack McDowell and Robin Ventura as potential favorites when growing up.

The guy said he was an Oakland A's fan. He should have said something about rooting for Catfish Hunter or Sal Bando, but he only pretends to liek baseball so old people will liek him. Bill Clinton would have gone on for 45 minutes about Vida Blue and Reggie Jackson. Nice one Obama.

First MLB game I ever went to was in Old Comiskey Park in it's final season. Sammy Sosa was playing for the Sox at the time and hit a homer that game. He's the only fucking player I remember from that time period, but I also didn't really follow the Sox. That was his other error he lived "right by the ballpark" but didn't know the name of the fucking stadium. Where the hell is Cominskey park?

JESUS fucking god are you a no0b. South Side Hitmen, dodger. Greg "The Bull" Luzinski. Harold Baines. Bobby Thigpen. Kirk McCaskill. Steve psycho Lyons. Floyd Bannister. The Law bros, Vance and Rudy. Mike "Spanky" Squires. Rock Raines. Danny fuckin Pasqua. And on and on and on. C'mon kid. Know some history. I watched a cumulative of 1 hour of baseball when I was a kid. Even today, I have to have nothing going on to watch much of it unless I'm at the ballpark. It's pretty hard for me to stay focused on it for more than a 3 game stretch unless the playoffs are on the line or something good is fixin' to happen. I pull for the Sox, but living 90 minutes on the red line from the ball park has made me pretty fair weather. Used to watch more and go to a shitload of games, but I didn't even hit one Sox game last year and other Sale and Danks, I don't think I could name a pitcher on the team. I don't live down in Charlotte so I don't get to see all the AAA players come through the system liek you do.

Have you ever even had Connie's pizza? Cripes. Yes. Yes, I have. And honestly, I prefer Godfather's or Happy Joe's taco pizza to any offering Connie's has. Mah boy was down from Rockford with some friends and we were staying in the Souf Loop before a Bears game. We ordered Connie's after crushing multiple brews. They were underwhelmed. I tend to agree. Malnati's is better. Hell, I like this NY style place by mi casa called Gigio's moar than Connie's. It ain't bad, but it ain't special. Jesus, I got a doc late tonight and missed supper reading that thing and I would kill for 17 minutes on a Godfather's buffet right now.

God some of you fagits are lame. For crissakes I can name exactly one Iowa defensive starter but that doesn't prevent me from wanting to chain a teabagger behind my truck and drive 70 on a gravel road in a fit of rage every time the Hokkks shit the bed.

Actually, in this case, yes I am. It would maek me very happy and nostalgic to sup on a HJ's tacozza. Hmmm...me too. I'll have to check to see if Happy Joes is in Des Moines....maybe this weekend. Kind of afraid to try one, ...only to find out it now sucks.

FWIW, I have had a Happy Joe's pizza every month for the past 30 years, and I don't think the quality has decreased. However, it's hard to taste nostalgia. Nothing ever tastes as good as it did 20 years ago.

I will say I've tried a lot of taco pizzas only to be disappointed by my memories of a good one. You could ship a pizza to dudes that live in NC....the website says....

Taco pizza? BAH... There's a place here call Pizza taco, and they basically take a pizza, fold it in half and add lettuce to it.
No, I haven't tried it yet, but they have good drink specials and it seems busy.

Bagworms. The house we lived I had some evergreens out front and there were bag worms everywhere on that thing. You could hear those suckers moving.

why and when did you live godfuckinghell wichitderp, Ging? I lived there very briefly when my husband finished with his midlife career change and got a job there. Six months I think. Jan-July. Seems like longer but I think it was just that I was so unhappy with the situation. Left a good job and friends only to work in a shitty hospital with cunts as coworkers. Rented a house that smelled like shit all the time. Looked like a nice house but there was always that smell..., the schools sucked and the catholic schools/churches were ultra conservative, unlike the one I belonged to in Des Moines. My kids weren't happy there. My husband didn't like his new job. It was fucking hot. Bag worms. There was a lot of violent crime and in areas you wouldn't expect. Seriously the only thing I remember fondly about living there is a flower garden I had done with my girls. That's it. It was a very stressful time and there's much I honestly don't remember, even when my girls and husband talk about it.

Once on a family visit to Kansas City, MO, we drove into Kansas on a high way interchange and then straight back to Misery. Muh pops stopped the car so I could open the door and put my foot down so I could say I stepped foot in Kansass. Haven't been back bince. Sounds like that's a good thing.
