Hey, at least she wants to do away with the EPA, so that will help with my shit tank problem. I know, I know she is crazy, but my buddies the koch brothers seem to like her, so that is good enough for me. You cant believe what TV is like in Iowa these days Chuck. Both sides derping it out to drag down the opposition. Both sides totally suck. Oh, I can totally believe what it's like there. I urge you to google "kay hagan thom tillis nc senate race" or words to that effect. We have some steaming mountains of derp nyah, too. Except in my case, Kay Hagan doesn't suck. Thom Tillis sure does, tho. Oof. Classic fat cat power hungry republicant. www.bluenc.com/content/daily-dose-you-cant-trust-thing-thom-tillis-says-editionSeems like a tool.

You know I get that the CDC doesn't want to alarm people about this because panic will happen and it will not be good. However they need to error in the side of caution here and stop feeding everybody platitudes that the government has got this under control. JFC, the secret service let a convicted armed man get on an elevator with the president of the United States. How does anybody that rode the plane with this guy know that he washed his hands after taking a dump in the airplane bathroom? They don't. That he didn't spit or sneeze? Did the hospital that first treated him even ask him if he's been in Africa? He's from there and was visiting family here. I would rather they error on the side of caution with this shit. AIDS is spread pretty much the same way but takes a long time to get you....and it can be treated. With this crap you can be dead in days. I can trust my own basic sanitary habits but I can't trust the asshole that comes here from third world country with his bad ones not to infect me or my family. One of the American doctors that was brought back over from there contracted the disease and they don't know how he got it as he didn't not treat or work with an known Ebola patients. The way I understand it, someone with ebola is not contagious until the symptoms manifest. Of course I could be fucking wrong. Or both.

That's what "they" are saying...when they start showing symptoms, that's when the viral load is big enough for them to be contagious. According to what the news is saying now, this guy helped an Ebola patient (who later died) into their house, right before he left. Then he flew to Brussels, then the US. He did tell a nurse at the hospital that he had come from Liberia but that info was not communicated during his first ER visit. Then while waiting for the ambulance to come get him, he was barfing all over the place outside his families residence. Wonder who cleaned that up?

Not at all. I believe they understand how it's spread. I just don't trust all health professionals to properly identify it when it's right in front of them. I also don't trust people that are ill to stay home from work or school and not bring what they have to others.

He had pneumonia and they gave him pills and treated him. Sent him home. Went back to ER about 3 weeks ago. Having chest pains. They sent him home and scheduled a visit for 2 days later. WHAT? He is now in ICU with blood clots in heart and lung. Enlarged heart and it's working way OT. Not looking good. Those fuckers should be sued for everything they're worth.

I don't doubt it could get out-of-hand, I mean fuck, we're talking about a virus(nature's best hit man) and humans(nature's best and worst creation yet)....... I still think they(health pros(yikes I know)) can handle it IF the fucking retards(people) cooperate. Because of how it spreads. What scares me is how long this fucker has had time get to know itself, and us, better...... It's already changed itself A LOT. But "they" claim it would take a HUGE fucking change to become airborne. Don't mean it won't kill 25% of Africa and scare 'Merickans into cellars for a few more years.

My most heightened state of awareness is in the spring, when the ticks are all over the fucking place. We literally pick dozens of them off the dogs after every run. And sometimes we miss one of the crafty little vectors, and it ends up on the cushions of the davenport or worse, in the bed! FFFFFFUUUUU I hate ticks.

We had to have the dog dipped one time because she came back from a romp in the woods literally covered in ticks. Our vet said he had seen dogs in need of a transfusion who had run into a concentration of ticks like that. Yuk

The first time I went into the woods in southern Misery I came out with more ticks on my body than in the previous 29 years combined. The only thing possibly worse were all the chiggers there.
