That's probably the oldest wrestling hold in the book.

sports.yahoo.com/blogs/highschool-prep-rally/sayreville-football-season-cancelled-053424948.htmlThe Sayreville Police Department and Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office are handling the investigation. The allegations were made directly to the police, and school officials have not been told who filed the report. They were first informed of the investigation on Thursday morning, prompting the district to cancel the Oct. 2 football game just hours before kickoff. While school officials carefully avoided the word "hazing" over the weekend, the father of a freshman told NJ.com that his son and others would “stampede” to the locker room to dress after practice, hoping to get out before the seniors could “push around” the freshmen. CBS 2 News has reported that the alleged abuse was “sexual in nature.” Parents interviewed by NJ.com showed no sympathy for the potential victims. Earlier that day, a group created a Facebook page supporting the coach, who has led the team to three state sectional titles in the last four years. The cancellation applies to the varsity, J.V. and freshman teams. It will automatically end the school's 20-year playoff streak.

Rumor is that a Pedo State commit is among the seniors involved in the hazing. Could be interesting if criminal charges are brought and he is among those named. Meanwhile, major divisions in the state over whether the superintendent and school board were right to cancel the season and for all three levels. Based solely on the little I've heard, I think they made the right call. Tear down and start over. Look for some parents, however, to hire a lawyer to sue to get the seasons reinstated. Parents are part of the problem. As the article stated, they said the parents have no sympathy for the victims. Starts at home.

Parents are a big part of the problem. Alarming breakdown of the sense of right and wrong and common sense. It's across the board, not just football or sports. Many of the kids entering elementary school are total deadheads wifout their electronic toys; their parents are clueless, except that everything has to be about little Johnnie or cute Susie. I know I come across as an old fart poasting this. That's OK; I am. My wife and I are in our late 30's, and we feel the same way you do. Our twins are 13, they think we're cruel because we haven't gotten them phones yet. It's not because we don't think they would come in handy, but because we actually want our kids to learn social skills, rather than staring down at a phone the whole time, and having no other contact with people other than Facebook or text messages. We also see some of the other parents on our kid's teams that are like you mentioned, we just shake our heads. If our kids fuck up, we let them know it; way too much coddling anymore.

That's messed up. Ending their chance to go to state just because some Freshmen got cornholed? Welcome to Obama's America.

My eldest grandaughter is also 13. She does have a cellphone but you seldom see her using it. Way too involved with her friends and sports. Also seems to be somewhat interested in boys, the little bastards.
