Pls tell me u r not surprised by the constant and hurtful hypocrisy displayed by the christian right? Not surprised, just disappointed. The parable of the Good Samaritan I was talking about contains what is called "The Great Commandments", which is (supposed to be) the basis of the Christian religion, as Jesus explicitly says all of the law and prophets rely on obeying these two commands. They are, "Love God with all of your heart and strength and soul and mind, and love your neighbor as you love yourself." Jesus explicitly says in this parable that the righteous, those who are truly a neighbor to others, and those who follow his commands are not those who appear righteous, but those who actually show mercy to the least among ours, even if they have no station in society. For fucks sake, Jesus straight up calls out those in power for ignoring those in need because of the need for ritual purity (or using "the law" as an excuse to ignore suffering). They are straight up failing the BASIC POINT of the entire fucking religion! Oh, but we gotta keep dem dar queers from hitchin' To further this point, in Matthew 25 Christ explicitly and exclusively lays out the actions/nonactions which will condemn a person to hell. Matthew 25 is the crux of Christianity. It states with no qualification the consequences of failing the Great Commandments. "For whatsoever you do the least amongst you, that you do unto me" is the alpha and omega of Christianity. It's the thing that matters. Beating down the weak (Hi, Paul Ryan) is an unforgivable cardinal sin. It is the ticket to hell. Don't take my word for it. I think it's safe to say that we don't fuckin live in a Christian nation.

I swear to Gawd, if you do a google image search of "Tork Mason", pictures of butthole surgery come up on the first page. I am not kidding. Apparently there is a butthole procedure called the "York-Mason". Check at your own risk.

Check out Thor going all goddy n shit Nay. Merely describing what a true Christian is, cuz it's fuckin simple, and illustrating that by the tenets of their own text many if not most self-proclaimed Christians, and almost all of the right wing fundamentalist ones, are acting in direct contradiction to the central teaching of Christianity and condemning themselves. There are hardly any true Christians. There are countless hypocrites who claim to be Christian but by their own example clearly are not.
