I had a really bad feeling we were funna shit the bed so I went down to the NECKCAR race in Joliet where mah boy Kyle Larson busted his ass to run in the top 5 all day and finish second a half a car length ahead of Kyle Busch, who had a dominant car all day. I suspect that I had moar fun crushing 16 Coors Lights in the parking lot and in the track (they let you take a 6 pack in) and watching the race than I would have had driving to IC and watching the Hox. I came home and just deleted the game off of mah DVR because I suspect it was a lot of the same bullshit ineffective QBing I saw last week and I really don't care to see that again, but if I could get a few sentences of the normal top notch analysis I've come to expect from y'all, it would be much obliged.

I'd love to see the Hawks win all the time but it isnt going to happen. It does cost a lot of money to travel to the games, eat and buy shit. I honestly didn't have a good feeling about this game. The Cyclone fans at work were saying things to me like "you guys got this week" and I just said "but it the Hawks....anything can happen." They'll rub it in I'm sure on Monday. I brought my future son-in-law to the game and he saw his first D1 football game and he found it very exciting. He had a good time and enjoyed the atmosphere despite the loss. I also had fun until the end. |
