Forget the W-L record or slow start this season. It is totally inexcusable he continued to play his badly injured, dazed quarterback. Fat Boy should be out of a job by the end of the day. If Dave Brandon refuses to act, this is one time where I think it would be appropriate for the university president to step in and fire both of them.

My favorite part was that after the game he said "He's a tough kid and wanted to play if he was injured he would ask us to take him out." or something along those lines.
How long have you been a football coach moron?

You know watching some of those runs this year those would be 2 yard gains as Weisman doesn't see the hole and just runs into the back of one of his offensive linemen. The OL has been average this year but watching that video it's pretty clear what even an average RB with good vision can do behind a decent line.

Not to totally derail but fuck he had some big ass holes in some of those. He did. That said he also had great vision, a lot of those runs were to holes that weren't the actual way the play was designed to go. I would say close to half of them were him using vision to find the best opening and quick enough to hit that hole right away (something Weisman is horrible at) You also throw in the fact that he didn't go down at first contact, always seemed to get that extra 2 or 3 yards, and even made guys missed is the difference between being an average back and a good one.

Nothing like overlooking, during the game, the very strong possibility your quarterback had suffered a concussion. Every high school coach and sports official is required to take an online tutorial on the causes, symptoms and response to concussions and to get a perfect score on a short quiz afterwards in order to be certified for the coming year. Presumably college sports has something similar, although that may be assuming too much from the NCAA. From TV replays, it was painfully obvious Morris had been concussed on that hit. He should have been pulled from the game and not allowed to return until a full evaluation from a medical professional. Certainly there were at least 109,901 sets of eyes in the Big House that saw the hit and Morris' difficulties afterwards. Is Meechagan saying no on their sideline saw it? While this ain't an assistant coach rubbing up little boys in the shower, Meechagan hasn't exactly come clean here and increasingly looks to be in CYA mode. The stink is going to continue to rise until they do. If Hoke was 5-0 this year and coming off successive 13-0 or even 11-2 seasons, possibly he survives this. At 2-3 so far and 8-5 and 7-6 the past two years, I don't see how he does. Michigan gomers I work with insist that Hoke thought the wobbling was due to a dinged ankle and assured me that Michigan is a program that "does things the right way."

I saw that live and I was like, what the fuck, that poor bastard prolly doesn't even know what stadium he's in.
Back in high school, before my football "career" was unceremoniously ended by my elbow bending at a physiologically disadvantageous angle (I couldn't feel my hand for two days, rehab for 4 months before I could straighten my arm, fuck off football) our QB got fucking shithammered right to the dome late in the first half. Sat there in the locker room during half time staring at the wall. Kept playing, though not too well. When we got back to town after the game, he couldn't remember what kind of car he owned, let alone where he had been the previous several hours.
Everybody thought that shit was pretty funny back then.
My bro in law played college ball and suffered 8 (EIGHT!!) documented concussions. He's now an executive, but he has to carry a shit ton of LTD insurance because he's almost certain to develop early onset dementia or some such shit.
My boys are gonna have to learn to bend it like Beckham.

It ranks towards the top of concussion experience, although surprisingly the rate wif girls is much higher than wif boys. This from someone who loves teh game and actively participates wif it. I know. But it's the best alternative I can offer. I suppose they'll ski like I do, but that's not totes safe either. As for climbing, goddamn, I don't know if I could stomach watching my kids put themselves in the danger I've put myself in. It's kind of a wonder that I'm alive typing this at all.

Yeah, this correct. The fucking header is not good, plus you have risk of two fairies running into each other head first.
