Who cares what's going on? Seriously, shouldn't someone care about concerns?
Oh fuck, I forgot, suggestion isn't applicable. Was way way out there in unreasonable land I've got to start considering such outrageous suggestions before I voice them. My bad.

Or at least you should, if you care about her. Alright, brah, fair point. So you prolly shouldn't get a hard on over Miller moving to OK for his wife. I could see how someone could possibly construe that as open season on teh wimminfolk, who should be left out of it unless someone opens the door by saying "I'm looking for a bull in the Grimes area to service mah wife - plz help." Or something along those lines. You get the drift.

I can roll with generic jokes about plowing and what not, but when names and pictures of uninvolved and unwitting people are posted without approval or consent, well... Um, isn't liek 92% of the content on the wasteland talking shit 'bout people who have no idea of its existence, though?

There is a certain level of douchebaggery involved when you go digging for personal info/pics/etc.

Sure was a lot of derpin' in here today. Glad that thread got dumped. I put in a 15 hour day at work yesterday, got home at 1am and back up to go to work and work until after 7. Had only a few minutes to check the boards today on my phone.
Unless I am missing it, I can't do really any admin functions on my phone...and so all the posturing and whining about the mods not doing anything was idiotic. I think all mods have jobs, so we don't have time to be here babysitting all the time.
And Ice, I fixed what I think what MAY have been your problem but I'm really not sure, because frankly, that sort of thing is said here all the time.

Hard to tell I spose. You can re-post it if you wish, I don't wanna be responsible for that kind of douchemod mongering.
Like I've already said, I didn't make a big fucking deal about it initially, was more of a suggestion. The douchey fucking hissy-fit defenses of why not to take action are what had me shaking my fucking head.
Sorry

That's a fine looking building. Unfortunately the owners of it aren't in jail. Five different restaurants they have owned have all mysteriously burned down. Usually around the time of a remodel. The last place in Boji they owned that they couldn't sell some how caught on fire as well.
I reckon Laker frequents one of their places. I haven't been in one of their establishments for 15 years and won't ever again.

As long as the obits are free there really is no reasons to pay.

I wonder how many online subscribers they actually have? Can't imagine too many.... Parental units in the lake of storms are not among them. Mom used to check obits daily. Apparently obits become a moar reader-relevant feature as you age. She refuses to pay the confiscatory subscription online rates. Their workaround: little sis, who you know, mails them copies of The Mess twice a week. Or brings them when parental units drive over to teh Dodge to see the improvements sis and her hubby are doing on a place they bought along the sewage ditch known as the Des Moines River Norf of town. Place just happens to be where Mom was born 83 years ago. Wow how cool is dat? Big ol catfish in dat riber tho!

Place just happens to be where Mom was born 83 years ago. It's moar of a drainage system for agricultural chemicals than it is a sewage ditch. It's not like it was when we were growing up and during times of high water the sewage treatment facilities along the river would get overloaded and raw sewage would be released into the river. Nothing would ruin a boat trip quicker than bits of toilet paper and human shit floating along side the boat. The water nowadays has a green color from all the chemical flowing into it. It amazes me that people still eat fish from the rivers in Iowa.
