I won't see Star Wars for the first week or so just because I don't want to be in some room with some virgin cheering and applauding during the movie and interrupting important shit I need to watch and later analyze. I'm going on the 23rd. Letting the hysteria die down a tad. I am however wearing my kick ass retro Millennium Falcon t shirt, and the kiddies will be in their Vader or Yoda t's as well. I'm planning on the same myself. Depending on what day the kids are out of school, I may have to adjust my plan a bit. I don't want to go to a showing where it's packed nuts to butts and you get idiots clapping and cheering shit. Shut up and enjoy the movie, I don't want to hear your approval/condemnation on a movie. The nice thing is that most movies here tend to slow down after the initial hype/weekend they are released. This will be an exception as they will likely have mostly full movies the first couple of weeks, especially with holiday breaks for the stupid kids.

No way in hell you could get me in the doors.

That's why I'll just wait for a good afternoon showing of the movie when I'm wife/kid free so I can enjoy the movie and not be annoyed by the spawn of morons who drop kids off at movies and ditch them so they can bang the neighbor so their spouses don't find out.

I have one Personal day to burn for the 2015 calendar year. I'm probably going to take the 21st or 22nd off and catch a matinee. The kids will still be in school and many proles and non-proles prolly have to work Monday or Tuesday. That means ghosto can check shit out, and then finish anny shopping that needs done.

I may have to think about catching an early show on either the 21st or 22nd. I'm off those days so I may as well take advantage of it if the theater isn't packed. I'll have to check when the schools are closed for the holiday just to make sure.

Dammit. Some of the school districts are done with school on the 18th, but only the biggest is off starting on the 23rd. Guess I'll be waiting until the beginning of January to see that movie.

Going to a movie theater sounds worse than going to Syria.

Reminds me of the RB, right gents?
Nostalgic parents lining up like sheeple with their kids to view/share a product which is over-hyped and probably won't garner more than a 50 on Rotten Tomatoes.
But hell, after buyer's remorse wears off in a few months, it'll be that special once-in-a-lifetime sharing moment. How sweet.

The I, II and III movies were probably the most awful ones I've ever seen, outside of Kramer vs Kramer winning the Oscar. I guess when the trailers all have to showcase an aged Han Solo, etc., something's up. I'm hoping Abrams can polish those three turds into something watchable.

Are you going to go, I mean, when it gets to the cheap theater? You don't want to overpay.

Sometimes, it just pays to be at the age to have to take daily ibuprofen.
