Me and you should act like that dude from Ballers and roll in there and see if McNutt can still ball and try to get him back in the NFL.

I wonder where #70 would be had he played at Iowa. My guess is would be more Trice, and less Rudy.

I wonder where #70 would be had he played at Iowa. Probably slinging suds in some janky fucking rental bar in a strip mall skirting some primo storm water ditch in some mine tailings pile of a suburb of boulder or whatever the fuck. I'm just kidding....heh heh heh

I was in line behind Mcnut in HyVee about a week ago. He looked kind of car saleslike.

Guy must be limited upstairs or a med/pharm company would have picked him up as rep.
They love those former athletic stars, hell just look at #70.

I mean, it's one thing if you can't go into an Outback Steakhouse without a bunch of HN losers with #7 jersey tucked into their underwear asking for a selfie...if you're living the pro-athlete lifestyle. It's an otter thing if you're pulling down $90,000 schlepping Chevys in Crapids and three hours of every day is occupied by mouth-breathers wanting to chat you up about the MSU catch.

I doubt he is pulling down $90K, I would guess around half that. Oh and....... Marvin McNutt @mcnutt7wr 18h18 hours ago This Saturday come to @mcgrathauto #chevy and visit with me. Let's talk football and you can buy a new Chevy from me #Silverado #impala

I assume he gets moar upfront in base than an average guy. I imagine the Spiffs might be decent bince Hok fans might ask to work directly wif him too, so he would have to rely less on lot traffic than an average salesman.

Man, I bet the other salesmen hate the shit out of that guy. "Hey there, pardner. Wow, that's a great watch. What will it take to get you out the door in a brand new Chevrolet Impala?" "I'm here to work with McNutt. I shall procure mah Impala from him."

And another tip of the hat to the 'free' education he got @ Iowa.
How useful is that Interdepartmental Studies degree now?
The whole notion of NCAA student-athlete with 'student' being first is a joke.
And to think he had to schlep his 'talents' in a shit-hole like Cedar Crapids rather that Iowa City?

Chances are, he's going better than 90% of the rest of the people who graduated from Iowa in the past 5 years. That includes most of the med and law school grads.

In case you guys the missed the point....he shouldn't have to be selling cars with a college degree and his pedigree @ Iowa.
He got his job based on his name...now, he'll have to keep it, in part to performance, but he got his job based upon his name.
The value of the degree is zero...in fact, less than zero.
That is all.

Do you lump in nursing, pharmacy, bioengineering, etc? I don't count women since they typically quit the fulltime workforce about 5 years after college to rasie the ruggers. No Ghost, no...he's certainly not doing better than 90% of the above mentioned folks.

You think nurses are making what McNutt has made after 2 1/2 seasons on an NFL roster and then falling into a cushy sales position? Even in a job as high demand as nursing, any UI grad heading up to Crapids still isn't making moar than $60k to start. I know a guy who recently graduated med school from UI, and he's making about $50k in residency. No way in hell UI law grads are making 6 figures five years out. And that says nothing to the astronomical debt all of these people have that McNutt nevar has to worry about. Don't get me wrong, I have stated above why being a salesman in Crapids has to be a living hell for big #7, but financially, he's miles ahead of the rest of the class of 2011.

Pharmacists are kicking his ass fo sho.
