I don't think stating that Donald Trump brought racism openly into public discourse is an extreme statement. I'll just give this piece and end it. Perhaps many people in the mythical white working class feel powerless and forgotten because natural gas is better than coal and people who work at craft stores wanted to use the birth control pill. Whatever, they're entitled to feel what they feel, and I don't have the right to tell you how to feel. However, what I refuse to tolerate is people who feel vulnerable and forgotten attacking those who are even more vulnerable and forgotten. Trump's campaign, to me at least, seemed to prey on the most vulnerable people. He mocked a disabled guy. He wants to register religious minorities. He claimed that he uses his wealth and power to get whatever he wants from women. If you're a person who feels like you're not getting a fair shake in society, why in God's name would you associate with a man who will trample others to get you what you want? That is a textbook lack of empathy. Some people can tolerate this. I can't. Whatever. that'd be called The Southern Strategy, bro. And it ain't playing only in the South any more, as evidenced by how the dipshits in the Midwest voted. Boiled down, it is essentially "hey lazy uneducated white trash racist asshole, you may suck at life and you may be totally brokedick and addicted to opioids, but at least ur not black or brown." republicunts have been repeating this mantra for about 50 years now, and it works very well on their target audience (several examples of which have been band from here fairly recently) Well I disagree with this quite a bit.

Isolated incident. If this was real, the media would be all over it. But when she came down from the peak, she discovered that her car window had been smashed. A note on the hood of her car suggested that the suspect mistakenly believed that she was Muslim.
“Hijab wearing bitch this is our nation now get the f— out,” the note said.
...
Pancholoy explained to KNTV that her ethnicity is Rajastani Indian, and that her religion is love, not Islam. She said that scarf covering her head was for sun protection because she suffers from lupus.

I hope someone isn't using private, unsecured technology to conduct international business. That would be disqualifying. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, an army general who seized power three years ago, appears to have been the first leader to speak to Trump after the election, ahead of closer allies like the leaders of Britain and Germany.
Sisi’s office called Trump last Wednesday and the incoming U.S. president told him it was “the first international call he had received to congratulate him on winning the election.”
Australian media reported that Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull was the second leader Trump spoke to, after the Australian ambassador to the United States got Trump’s personal phone number from Australian golfer and Trump friend Greg Norman.

Wrong. Our new Attorney General, who was named after two prominent Confederate "heroes", and was denied a spot in the judiciary in the 80's for being too racist, will certainly uphold our hate crime laws and make this country safe for minorities. Just fixing the problems that Obama started.

You do know that a coordinated attempt to block the ball from coming over the net is called a wall don't you? That is all they were trying to encourage.

Doing some more thinking... perhaps the root issue is porn. Specifically the male inadequacy that comes from males ranging the scale - but more than likely being "average" & not being able to handle it (specifically the outraged white male Trump voters). Thus the preponderance of "cuck" etc. labels in the Alt-Right community and their need to express outwardly how manly they are. The underlying issue like why they need porn vs. a live being or the dissonance of not being comfortable with their own sexuality / likes... I think it is their fantasies of BBC doing things to their girlfriends, and in their fantasy minds, them.
