Wasn't the deal with the bread bags that she said she wore them OUTSIDE of her boots?
Because just saying, I grew up poor and wore breadbags inside my boots to keep out the water. Wonder Bread bags. With the red, yellow and blue circles on them. They also were used to carry cold lunch to school. Not at the same time.

With the red, yellow and blue circles on them. They also were used to carry cold lunch to school. Not at the same time. Wonder Bread bags were for rich folk. All we had were Colonial Bread bags and we were grateful for them as we walked to school through huge five foot drifts. Usually whoever woke up first got the bags with the least number of holes in them. On the coldest nights I would stay awake all night just so I would have dry feet when I got to school. At least they would only be wet from sweating inside of plastic bags. Colonial bags.

I member when pop came in nothing but flats, instead of cases... that shit was rough.
Gatorade bottles made out of glass
Pizza Hut used real meat.
People weren't all uppity about fucking baked goods and starter cultures.
Knobs were up higher where they belonged
People took showers inside
Print music sold itself
Yes sir those were better days.....
