What would 28 years of your life be worth? He sure as shit isn’t going to be fairly compensated for what he lost and I’d wager that none of the people responsible for railroading him will suffer any consequences. That' really hard to gauge...I mean 28 years of my life is worth way more than 28 years of Duff's life. Cant hear you. Im packing for Scotland.

Sloop it's come out that Oliver Miller only recently (2 weeks ago) filed wit the NCAA for immediate eligibility. As it was mentioned he has an attorney involved I can only assume they had a role here amd waiting until now to file must be strategic in some way. Can the lawyer types here fink of any advantages to filing so late? It's not like any new info has come up. Could giving NCAA less time to consider actually be an advantage?

Nah, most of the companies know it is a total fucking racket, so they have just onboarded a bunch of functions that big firms used to do. In 20 years, the only big firms that will be left are the super elite ones where the GC has to say "Hey, we hired the best" and the ones that have 4000 attorneys and offices in every corner of the world so the GC can just call one guy to deal with an employment issue in Zimbabwe. Hell, Australia changed their legal practice rules and now the Big 4 run global law firms out of Australia. Those guys will siphon off a bunch of shit. If you're the GC and you say "Sorry, PwC fucked this up" the CEO ain't gonna bitch because he's seen PwC fuck other things up and he knows PwC.

Damn, that guy would get suspended if not disbarred in SC. The lawyer oath requires civility in all dealings with all parties involved in a matter and they've disbarred dudes for less than that.
