Hmmm that RO seems low and it’s hard to imagine that nosocomial spread isn’t an issue.

Its only a matter of time before Trump says "Collodial Silver" in a televised briefing or press conference.

This virus is so unknowingly widespread that people need to resign themselves to assuming they already have the virus and stop worrying. ...because if they don't, they inevitably will. Each and everyone will. There are also new stories about the virus recurring. If so, that means it has a pattern like Malaria (sick for 2 weeks, no symptoms for 2, sick again for 2 weeks, repeat). A cycle that will make people think they are healthy and then spread the virus. And all of this doesn't include a working knowledge of how the fucker is able to be spread. airborne, insect, ass to mouth, etc. So just accept that you likely already have it or soon will. There is really nothing you can do about it except hope you are one of those that doesn't drown with pneumonia.

The number of undiagnosed cases is likely astronomical, which would dramatically raise the denominator in the formula for calculating the mortality rate and make it look way lower than it is.

I really wonder if all the shit going around in early January and February was just this virus. I think it probably started earlier in China then they know and it’s probably been spreading everywhere as a “bad cold” and “flu -like” virus. They don’t usually test for flu but just assume it’s flu based on symptoms. There’s been so many people that got “influenza “ (not tested) that also did get the shot. I realize that the shot isn’t always effective based on the type of flu going around but if you’re not testing for it in the first place then you don’t know what’s going on. I think I there should be national standards for reporting flu and other communicable diseases. The tests should be plentiful and cheap and accurate. And the data needs to be reported in the same way from each state. That’s the only way you are going to get accurate counts and an accurate mortality rate. According to the Minnesota department of health there have been over 2700 hospitalizations due to the flu and 67 deaths with two of those being children.

I had a fucking ridiculous cold like 3 weeks ago where I was knocked the fuck out for 2.5 days. Hacking liek a horse, lungs full of shit to the point where I was a day from going to the doctor, wheezing. Could have been bronchitis or it might have been that shit. It was a little over a week after my cruise and there were a shitload of Chinese on the boat. Neither my wife nor my son got sick at all, which is weird because I have the strongest immune system of the group and was machine gun hacking for probably 5 days all over the house and my son drank out of my Gatorade bottle a day before I really took sick. If that was bronchitis, there is no god damned way my family wouldn't have been sick as fuck, too. Your theory is interesting. Hell, maybe the thing doesn't impact people with some Han Chinese genetic marker and the sick people in China are the non-Han (which is still a shitload of people). God only knows what kind of research the Chinese have done on viruses that only attack certain genetic markers of people they don't give a fuck about.

The world is better off without people There is some pretty compelling research indicating that human population will crest in the next couple of decades and then decline, and that the trend is becoming fairly baked in right now.

There are exponentially more cases right now in the US of A that we don't yet know about. I'd wager that many people who get it will write it off as a bad cold and never even get tested. It's not like Ebola where the symptoms don't mimic other conditions and your entire body goes into literal meltdown. Resistance, it would seem, is futile.

The cough has lingered. I'm not saying I had Teh Covid, but I'm not saying I didn't have it either.

At least in our neck of the woods. I think this novel one is spreading a lot faster than the flu, the flu has been pretty bad locally here too, lots of confirmed tests for B; and a great many people I know haven't gotten it who were smart enough to get vaccinated, and they were exposed in schools (ours reported to the state due to flu %) and at home with sick family... I haven't heard of much pneumonia related illness which is typically how this Corona is working right? There's too many brush fires popping up to have been here all along.

I'm not buying it. What are a billion Chinese people supposed to do while in quarantine? Not fuck? Unless more young people start dying off, This will turn into the next baby boom.
