And while it is a good idea, the knobs in his place are probably so low by now that there's no way I could bend down and reach them. My knee is getting really creaky and it's messing up my hip. |

That hurricane was fast moving. I was talking to to my friend yesterday on the phone when it went over her place in Covington, LA. Her lights flickered a little. I guess only two people died which is really hardly anyone when you compare it to all the other Americans that didn’t get hit by the hurricane. So nobody.

Your party still might be a little wet today We rescheduled the game and moved the party to Monday. It's fine now, but we had some pretty huge winds this morning. Half the leaves came off the trees over a 12 hour period and it looks like a leaf blizzard hit. I'm out in the country and a bunch of stoplights were out. The number of retards driving through turned off stoplights at 50 mph was really, really troubling. |

Had the pizza party tonight and crushed some brews in the parking lot after the game. A good time was had by all. Temp hit 47 so for a glorious moment it almost felt like crushing brews at Kinnick on that first or second October game back in the day - sweatshirt weather but not too cold. Only glitch was I purposely bought 2 or 3 extra pies hoping to give them to one family that seems to have a rough go of things but they cut out before the party. My buddy's wife said she saw the dad high as shit on something at the grocery store a few weeks ago. Ugh. I hope that kid turns out okay.
