I thought the guy calling you out Poncho was a schmuck. You should have fired one off at him. Here is some of the "humor" from that thread.

Mass walk out at Kinnick (26 votes)

We have to voice our collective opinion with what we have been seeing for the past three plus years.
If Jake starts next week, we as a whole need to get up and leave the stadium to make a statement. I hate to write this but this coaching staff leaves me with no other way to voice our collective opinion.
Jake is not the answer, has not been the answer, but this brain dead coaching staff needs to get a very rude wake up call next week.
Stanzi needs to start and finish this game, plain and simple! Let the chips fall where they may cause we are not going to win with Jake as our qb.
If they continue to start and play JC, we will be lucky to win 5 maybe 6 games, then I say clean house and bring in Chris Peterson from Boise State and lets see an offense worth the money we waste every home game.

co-sign. For 3+ mil, we should be able to get a great coach, one living in the present times. KF must go. We could hire a coach fo a fraction of that and give us better results

Yeah, that's right. Pick up your ball and go home because we lost you whiners. Something tells me the mass walk out won't work. Did you really expect us to go 13-0 this year? It was a tough loss with some mistakes made, mostly by players IMO rather than coaches. Let's quit crying like babies and get ready for next week.

Honestly, how can you blame the players when the coaching staff keeps making the same mistakes week in and week out?
I am not going to take my ball and go home, I am just not going to pay to see football that is slow and void of any imagination.

Then don't come to the games, you have that right, but understand the fact that there will be people available to fill your spot. And someday when the Hawks are rolling you can come back and be the fan you always wanted to be. Go ahead and laugh when I talk about the Hawks rolling, it will happen, may not be this year or next, but history shows us all that the Hawks will have good football seasons every so many years out of every decade since the '80's, if that's not good enough for you, then you should be cheering for another team, it its what it is.
Mass walkout? It will never happen

Did we watch the same game? I thought that most of the play-calling was pretty good, as it has been so far this season. Some bad calls, sure, but plenty of good ones. Much more interesting than last year. Several of them would have looked better with Stanzi at QB.

So, we walk out to protest the coaching staff and therefore ultimately punish the players by not providing support? This loss sucked, but give me a break.

Maybe not a mass walk out, just a couple people from my row in the North Endzone to free up some room. I'm sure the coaches will still get the point.

Mass walk out? What are you, Hawkeye fans, or a labor union? (And I have every right to compare that since I belong to one.)
It's not like we're 0-4, so get off suicide watch now before you hurt yourselves.

it sounds crazy and its for just one game. honestly if the coaching staff is dumber than ron zook than I think you need to do something drastic because obvisiously KF doesnt care what the fans think
I dont live in iowa and my friends and family do and have tickets. Im pretty sure they would walk out if thats what it takes. yesterday in talking to them they said they were thinking about not going to the game next week and if jake plays they will leave. this is not a far fetched idea. the fans have had it.
the proud fans of iowa must protect our program. this is not acceptable what KF did, purposely losing the game and thats what he did yesterday. the entire staff and president needs to know that giving that game away yesterday is not acceptable. the fans pay his salary and the fans are not paying for it next year if jake is the starter.
hell yes I think this should happen. we are not talking about a controversy here we are talking about purposely playing a qb who should never play another down for the university of iowa. its like playing ryan leaf instead of playing ...Im not going to call stanzi manning but you get the drift. this is as stupid of a coaching move as ever seen at the U of I. if walking out for one game gets the attention of throwing a game then I say DO IT

What if Murray makes the field goal?
What happens if there is no fumble at the end?

You're missing the point. The point is that the coaches are not putting us in the best position to win the game because of their stubborn allegiance to JC. Who knows what would have happened with Stanzi? Don't know, but it's time to move on past JC, no matter what happens in the future.

I am not missing the point. I think RS should be the QB!! But what if those 2 thinks happen yesterday. If Murray makes the Field goal we might have won, and not so big of meltdown on here!!

Mossbrucker should have been the kicker, not murray.
then I think you are right the meltdown is not happening today
i think its 23 -21 Iowa victory.
I dont know why Iowa is alternating kickers.
giving up 21 points to Pittsburgh whose offense is really not much if any better than Iowa's was a bit surprising.
