Luv the Hokks and glad the season finished as it did. But that was largely on Whitey's hunched back; Fran was slow to realize his "rotation" sucked and as a result the best players weren't getting the most minutes. He still is locked into his recruiting promise that believes Woodenstein should start. No way should FM have been in COY discussion. Jan's board is so devoid of adults it is frightening. Right now it is populated with Millar butt-kissers who can't see much beyond their black-and-gold tinted glasses plus a handful of Clowns. There's even a Panther troll who regularly gets under everyone's skin. Ponder that for a minute. Fran wasn't a legit CoY contender for anyone except these people. Still, the majority said he was 2nd or 3rd, when in reality, he was 5th or 6th. I really don't think Iowa fans inside the bubble don't understand how, I don't want to say unimpressive, but rather, insignificant Iowa's season has been. Too many Iowa fans are viewing this season, particularly the past three weeks, in the context of the Lick years/Fran's early years, while ignoring the present situation. Yes, winning the last six was impressive, and it rarely happens in Iowa basketball history, but still, they played 4 teams without a winning record in those 6 games. And the BoneG is extremely down this year. Could you imagine a few years ago, three BoneG teams with 20 total wins and 12 conference wins unranked? Last year, Wisco and MSu won 12 BoneG games, and they were ranked in the top 15.

Two Clowns and the UNI troll have managed to goad the dumbshits over on Jan's board into 19+ pages on a slow, tall, white kid from cock City that Fran failed to offer. JFC. Seth TuttleI hate Cock City

BRAND, CONTENT............... Iowa loses in the first round of the B1G tourney and this is the "story" "written" by Jon Miller- IOWA Iowa holds an 0-3 record as the fifth seed in the Big Ten Tournament, holding the fifth seed for the first time since 1999. The Hawkeyes are now 1-1 all-time tournament record against Penn State, 15-16 overall in tournament games. This loss snaps Iowa’s six-game winning streak. This is the first loss since falling to Northwestern 61-66 in OT on Feb. 15. The Hawkeyes move to 5-10 when scoring less than 70 points and 0-4 while playing on a neutral court this season. Iowa struggled from the field, shooting just 15-57 (26.3 percent) and 3-15 (20 percent) from three-point range. Senior C Gabriel Olaseni tied his season-high five blocks, marking the first time an Iowa player has recorded five our more blocks since junior F Jarrod Uthoff tallied five on Dec. 3 vs. North Carolina. Senior G Aaron White earned 21 points and 13 rebounds for his 16th career double double. This is the 11th time this season he has led the Hawkeyes in points and rebounds. Junior F Jarrod Uthoff scored 17 points tonight, making this his fourth-straight game scoring in double digits. Iowa out-rebounded Penn State 49-34, a season high for Iowa. The Hawkeyes grabbed 19 offensive rebounds, but only recorded 13 second-chance points.
PENN STATE Penn State improves to 1-1 against Iowa in the Big Ten Tournament, and makes its first quarterfinal appearance since 2011. Penn State opened the second half of action with a 17-7 run to take 36-34 lead with 11:01 to play. It would never trail from that point forward. Sophomore G Geno Thorpe finished with a career-high six steals to go along with 11 points and five rebounds. Senior G D.J Newbill had 18 points on 50 percent shooting from the field (7-of-14). He is averaging 22.0 ppg in 2015 Big Ten Tournament play. Senior F Ross Travis scored a season-high 17 points on 6 of 9 shooting (66.6 percent). Two of his five double-digit scoring games this season came against the Hawkeyes (10 points on Feb. 28). He also added a team-best seven rebounds. The Nittany Lions shot 53.6 percent from the field in the second half (15 of 28) after a 25 percent performance in the first half (7 of 28). Penn State’s 19 first-half points ties its season low for points in a half. The Nittany Lions also had 19 points in first half vs. Rutgers and in second half vs. Northwestern. Penn State’s 48 second-half points is a season best against Big Ten opposition.hawkeyenation.com/basketball/hawkeyes-drop-b1g-tourney-openerDude isn't even trying, passing off "game notes" as a story is the most comical thing ever.
