Iowa is leading after the first session with 74 points. Minny is second with 64. I believe Illinois is 3rd with 50(?). Iowa has already qualified 8 wrestlers for nationals. Only Morningstar and Beatty haven't qualified yet, but they still can. The 8 that have already qualified for nationals are all still in the championship bracket, the other 2 are in the consolation. Iowa has the most wrestlers still in the championship bracket, Minny follows with 7.
Now here is a beef I have with the Big Ten Network. They are not showing the Big Ten Wrestling tournament. This is inconceivable, IMO. Isn't showcasing other sports one of the big sells of this network? Especially when it is the Championships of the sport, and a sport in which they have the #1 team in the country and are the premier wrestling conference easily. This really irks me.

Yeah, it bothers me too. At least I can listen on the radio.
Morningstar and Beatty just have to win their first match tonight and they're qualified for nationals. I have confidence in Beatty, but I'm worried about Morningstar.

Color me wrong. Beatty is out, Morningstar in at nationals.

Brands must have had some strong words/actions last night for the Hawks to come out today and win the Big 10 by 15 points.
