Mrs HFN and Oscar may be in trouble this week from the wood Chuck and HFN are going to sport after this one. Wow, that is fucking priceless. Did Pollard also make the Bowlsby conspiracy statement? If I were the Big 12, I'd STRONGLY consider a move to jettison Iowa State after this shit. You simply do not call out the integrity of a conference because with all the gambling and shit going on, you can literally fucking kill the thing. Fuck a fine or a censure. Your shitass team got its ass kicked. Was there a questionable call? Maybe, but when you're the one sucking the teet of the conference and you bring no conference profits to the table, so fuck you. Call SMU and ask them to bolster their stadium. Get Cincinnati on the line. Maybe go after Memphis, ECU or Houston. Add three and bounce the fucking Clowns. Iowa has no business rolling out two BCS conference teams and clearly the clowns are butthurt every time they lose. You wanna see bad officiating? Watch the Mizzou fifth down game against Nebraska.

Seriously Keefe, you hit on on something important: He's impugning the integrity of the conference. That goes way beyond bitching about refs. I'll be curious to see how the conference deals with this kind of apostasy from a taker institution.
I'd be hard pressed to recall such a public self hanging.

I'll be curious to see how the conference deals with this kind of apostasy from a taker institution. I'd be hard pressed to recall such a public self hanging. At a very minimum, I would suspect the Big Twelve will send a stern letter to ISU saying that fuck has to be fired. The implication that the conference is exacting some sort of revenge for a vote about whether to serve Iowa pork tenderloins or Texas brisket at the coaches preseason media day (or whatever the fuck other petty ass shit it probably was) is literally the biggest (okay maybe second biggest behind don't get caught saying anything remotely racist) no-no in sports today. Look at Pete fucking Rose. I get that Pete involved gambling, but at the end of the day, if there is even an inkling of a statement that games are in any way predetermined, the guy saying it better have some serious evidence or prepare to get his ass fired. To my mind, if I were sitting in the Big Twelve Commish's office, what he said at that presser was 1000x worse than calling the refs a bunch of blind sackless cocksuckers who aren't fit to referee a 4th grade flag football game. If ISU has anyone, and I mean anyone, with a half a god damned brain in their senior administration, at a bare minimum they'd get that fuck suspended for at least the rest of the football season preemptively before the Big 12 goes off. The problem, I fear, is that delusional clown admins probably support the nonsense that fuck spewed. And this isn't a clown thing, I'd say the same thing if anyone at Iowa made the same statement. It is just categorically unacceptable.

Pollard sems to be confused about what it is that ends the careers of AD's. Bad calls don't end careers of AD's, sticking your foot in your mouth on national television as you bite the hand that feeds you does.

The referees killed Stevie Hicks. And bowlsby ordered it. The gunman on the grassy knoll was said to have been wearing a black and white striped shirt. And it was in the state of Texas.

HFN you better up your game. You are no longer the most hated guy over on CYFan. This guy put this tweet out and they are trying to figure out if it is a parody account or if he actually work's for the University of Iowa. They have his phone and email listed and want to contact his boss at Iowa.
Darren Miller @darren_D_Miller · 1d 1 day ago The thought that there is a conspiracy against a football program or athletic dept. as insignificant as Iowa State's is comical.

Got this in my inbox this morning...
FW:FW:FW:FW:FW OMG MUST READ!!!! BIG XII RESPONSIBLE FOR MURDER!
You remember that police chase through the Iowa State Campus last year that resulted in a young man being shot and killed? It turns out those weren't cops, they were BIG XII AGENTS sent by BOB BOWLSBY!!! to silence a whissle blower!!!
The "officials" claimed the person killed was Tyler Comstock, a troubled teen who stoled his father's car, in a joy ride that ended in tragady, but in reality, the victhim was named Jon Hagar, a jurnalism student who was investigating the BIG XII. I guess he got to close too the truth, which was the BIG XII was FIXING GAMES AGAINST IOWA STATE, and he was sent to be killed.
Hagar new that what he was doing was dangerous. He recieved several death threats beofr his "car chase". In fact, in an email to a friend the DAY BEFORE HE DIED, he wrote-
"I'm as good as gone. Don't even look for a trace of me after I'm dead, because they are stripping my identie from the internet. Its almost like I nevar existed!"
This BIG XII CONSPIRACY is not just unfair to ISU, it is CRIMINAL, VIOLENT, AND WILL STOP AT NOTHING!!1 PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW SO THE TRUTH CAN BE TOLD!!!!1A!

I want to preface this by saying this isn't a joke, this isn't a shot at ISU, and this has nothing to do with my Iowa fandom.
That said, what Pollard did might be one of the most idiotic things I have witnessed in a long time. As the supposed leader of the ISU athletic department he should know better, as a person in the position of power you can think that all you want but you DON'T under any circumstance say that in public. All that does is give his coaches and players excuses the next time they shit the bed. It isn't our fault, everyone is against us. It completely and totally gives players an out for their shitty play and instead of looking in the mirror on what they need to do to improve it gives them the GRAND excuse to continue to suck because according to Pollard everybody is out for them.
I know that we all love to give ISU shit as little brother and get the enjoyment of watching them fall on their face over and over again but I can't help but feel sorry for those ISU fans that actually are half way intelligent. In fact I spoke with a few of my ISU friends and each one of them was just as shocked and disappointed that Pollard went full derp mode.
I expect the loser mentality that ISU shows from fans but I never would expect that coming from someone deemed a "leader".
Finally the funny part is inside ISU's bubble Pollard is now some sort of king for saying that and outside of that bubble for the rest of the sports world he is even more a laughing stock than he already was.
Also I am sure this has been mentioned but Jay Bilas was killing it on Twitter Saturday night when all the ISU trolls were trying to explain why it needed to be said. Sorry Clowns Bilas was 100% right you are all just too stupid to see it.

The longer this goes without a comment from the Big 12 is not a good thing for ISU and Pullurd.
