If you are on the fence about the flu shot you are a moron. Not really. Do a little research on the pros and cons of flu shots and the efficacy of the vaccines. #lowinformationvoter #obama2016 I hereby invoke Poe's Law. Get the fucking flu shot, dude. Ever heard of herd immunity? Even if you're asymptomatic you can still carry and transmit the virus if you're not immunized. If you don't care about yourself getting the flu, think of some little kid or baby you know and imagine how shitty you'd feel if your latent virus killed that little fucker. For crissakes it's fuckin free with your insurance now #goddamnyouobama There's no fuckin downside, except maybe a minor ache in your arm. So don't be a cherry. ![](http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/72/c6/03/72c6033601acd65d11e9ac1906ebacf1.jpg)

I've gotten a flu shot every year for the past teen years even tho I haven't had the flu in over twenty years. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I get it every two or three years and I haven't had the flu in a long time. I got one yesterday and I'm pretty sure the government can now read my thoughts. I felt the microchip going in too! Fuck I knew sumting was up. My car radio is getting kickass reception now tho.

I recommend the flu shot, as I am currently recovering from flu. The fever hallucinations I had for nearly 18 hours while I tried to break that fever were crazy. Serious? I've had the flu ...a couple of years in a row in January both times. I was young. Mid twenties...and it kicked my ass. I could not get out of bed for a week. The body aches and vertigo were horrible. Hope you feel better.

Of course they don't want you to get ill, but it protects the patients as well. I believe flu is contagious PRIOR to symptoms so you can easily pass it on before you are sick. The elderly and young children are more likely to die from it. (Except in that flu pandemic of 1912 that largely killed young healthy adults) Tweets, all somebody has to do is cough or sneeze in close proximity to you and you just need to take a deep breath. Just do it.

Granted, without an actual diagnosis from a doc, you can't really tell the difference between a severe cold and flu, but having had both in the past, and the severity in which this kicked my ass, I'm calling it flu.

You are literally 50X more likely to be struck and killed by lightning than you are to die from ebola........... so far. Key word is "So Far". Now, what they should do in Texas to fight it is to stand their ground and shoot the hell out of that virus after pulling up their bootstraps. Murica!

That, or don't touch the urine, blood, feces, sweat, or saliva of someone who might have ebola. Where's the fun in that? Exactly. Hell this Aids shit has been around 30-40 years, and the use of a simple condom would probably reduce the risk of getting it by 99%, but that doesn't prevent guys like Scooter from telling dudes, "Fire in the hole".

On a more serious note regarding Ebola. It's obviously some very contagious shit. Is there much of it in Europe as I haven't really paid much attention.

That, or don't touch the urine, blood, feces, sweat, or saliva of someone who might have ebola. That eliminates a lot of potential fun.

Dude you live in Ankeny Iowa and you never fly anywhere. WTF are you worried about. Let's put it this way, I wasn't real concerned when I woke up this morning but it's been brought to my attention that if I don't walk next door and get injected I'm going to be hallucinating and have severe body ache and may potentially die ( sounds a little longer lasting then the way I feel most Sunday mornings now). Who give's a rip about this Ebola shit.

I'm confused. You previously had not heard of the flu? I'm not real concerned about it, if that is what your asking. I'll have a gripper or the liver will fail long before the flu get's me. I'm sure it was pure coincidence when one of my office girl's had to leave work yesterday, and take her mother to the cardiologist because she had significant tachycardia and had received the flu shot 24 hours prior. I guess the cardiologist was wrong also when he told her it may have been brought on by a adverse reaction to the injection.

As for your 2nd point, would you like me to name every one I know that has never had a problem with the flu shot? Might take me a while. I'm sure if you look it up on the internet you can find it. Or ask Tweets. He seems to be good with the internet.
