Step 1 in Billy Grilling is to first boil the meat. I thought step one is cut a hole in the box?

Marinated in lemon, seasoned with right spices and grilled, le Bambi tastes pretty damned good.

plenty of marbling there, Genius. Fat = flavor, so...those slabs ought to be mind-blowingly tasty. Medium Rare. For reference, that's a 14 1/2" pan they're on. LOL..

Reminds me of those stoopid ass tomahawk steaks people think are so cool these days. Nothing like paying for useless mass. At least with chicken wings and such I can upcycle those by giving them to the neighbors dogs.

Since we’re talking about steaks here I thought I’d mention that my husband is even worse than ghost about cooking meat…chicken, steaks, pork. Always overcooked. My 22 year old daughter can cook a good steak but not her dad. I came home from work the other day and he had cooked a top sirloin for me. He pulled the cast iron skillet out of the oven with my steak. It had at least 2mm of blackened hardness on the bottom and it took a lot of chewing. I could tell that had it been cooked properly, it would have been a great steak. He just doesn’t get it.

My daughter even explained to him about how he should let the meat rest. He thought that was BS. As with most men, he needs it hear it from a man before he believes it’s true. You can teach him as long as YOU wear that fucking wig.

You can teach him as long as YOU wear that fucking wig. Just have him watch some Bobby Flay pour and stir shows on Food Network. Go buy him a meat thermometer and pick up two thick steaks (the thermometer is worthless on thin cuts). Make him watch something like this where Bobby Flay mansplains how to cook a steak to a bunch of clueless women:

Soud Vide is great for anyone with a vagina. I guess cooking meat with moist heat is what vaginas and sous vide have in common
