The thing is, he's not stupid. He knows exactly what he's saying, and he knows the truth doesn't matter. It's a sick, cynical, and destructive political method, but it's not stupid.

You really honestly have to wonder how in the fuck that happens? Congress has a approval rating lower than Aids, Ebola and Obama, yet they nearly all get re-elected. I guess people are just too fucking stupid to realize that it's a good thing to get new blood and replace all the paid for corporate shills voting and putting through laws against their best interests.

And Teddy Fucking Cruz is still hammering on the net neutrality shit. Seriously, I know he's not a dumb fuck, he has high level degree's from well respected universities. Which, since he's not a dumb fuck, what it means is that he's very fucking evil to rile up his base to get him more payouts from his corporate masters. Fuck the people he represents. What a fucking disingenuous fuckwad. Comcast and other ISp's have been dumping metric shitloads of money into politicians pockets so that they can create those "fast lanes" and get that extra bit of profit, while still not improving our bandwidth or any other shit. They aren't creating the fast lanes to actually increase the speed we currently have, they want to slow everything else down unless either the corporation pays for that access to all the subscribers, or the people will pony it up to continue our internet as it is now.
I just want to go and punt a fucking chihuahua because of dumbfucks that believe the lies coming from his fucking mouth.

I have fucking family in Texas that suck so hard on the GOP dick that they cannot think rationally when it comes to this shit. Of course you're for the GOP, you imbezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars and the government is the bad guy and the GOP will save us all. Fuck that shit. They obviously know shit about ethical standards and the only good thing is that person cannot vote thanks to his felony conviction.

Wait, some of you nimrods think "Net Neutrality" is actually about an even cyberspace playing field for everyone? According to Cruz, it's about Taxes.. And Obamacare, and no more freedom. Do you even have a clue what it is about Tweets? Do you want to have to have Okeefe pay comcast more money so you can get to le wasteland faster? How slow will you deal with the breast appreciation page to load up unless we all pay?

Then you should be all in favor of it, otherwise it will allow the ISP's to block whatever they deem "inappropriate" and we will be far worse off than the GOP claims we'd be like China. Letting the ISP's dictate what we can and cannot access is just stupidity. So tweets, your breast love may be hindered by not having net neutrality. Set those puppies free tweets. For the good of fapkind.

For the good of fapkind. Your ISP would still have to comply with service level commitments that they make for all content. This is ultimately a battle of a handful of multi-billion dollar corporations, with much maligned Comcast, AT&T, Verizon and Time Warner on one side and cooler customer facing applications liek Apple, Netflix, Youtube/Google and Amazon on the other side. It's funny watching you claim Ted Cruz is sucking corporate cock when you are doing the same, but under the guise of a slick marketing campaign.

If it's going to have to be decided legislatively, then telecom companies might come to regret basically treating their customers liek shit for the last 30 years because of their regional monopolies. Smoking billionaire coq or not, is there anyone, even people who work for cable companies, that want internet service to be moar like cable service?

Smoking billionaire coq or not, is there anyone, even people who work for cable companies, that want internet service to be moar like cable service? My vision of the government's role in regulating the internet would be: a) FTC, FCC or other government branch that enforces compliance with representations/service level commitments made re speed for all sites in general (so if ISP sells service for 10 MB/sec, government can seek redress for violations) b) Antitrust enforcement (to prevent content owners from denying access to competitors or potential competitors) I see absolutely no reason why if a and b are complied with, Comcast couldn't cut a side deal with Netflix so that Netflix could boost delivery speeds for its specific content so that it could deliver brilliant HD quality at 20 MB/sec to someone who opts for a lower speed internet connection. Think about it - your ISP tells you that you will get 10 MB/sec speeds - the government should hold them to that, but no one is made worse off if some heavy user, liek Netflix, works behind the scenes to improve its connection with your ISP. You still get everything else at 10 MB, but you get a boost for Netflix. Shit has jumped the shark when people act liek the whole fucking internet will just turn off if Netflix pays for higher speeds.

BUndles... Bundles for everything!!!! MUAIs this really that funny...HA
Yea, I can see that screwing up. Pay Netflix their $9 per month for their service, then pay your ISP $60 a month for 50mb download speeds, but hey, I see you have Netflix and want to view that? Why, you need to bundle in our "Streaming Service" package with your internet connection so we can get you that 50mb down speed. Otherwise, if you don't we sadly can only allow you to download streaming services for only 5mb down because it's not in our basic internet plan.
Whats that? You like to use dropbox or other cloud storage? Why, in our basic plan, those are capped at speeds of 5mb down as well. To access those you'll need to add our Online Storage bundle to get that 50mb download speed. Of course, these bundles can be added for only $10 per month per bundle... Want everything full speed and fast? Why, get our Ultimate bundle which will allow you fast lane speeds for everything for only $30 per month.
What's that? We'll upgrade our infrastructure and speeds later, times are tough and we can't afford to pay our CEO hundred of millions of dollars and improve service.. That's absurd! Our net profits were only 3.2 billion last quarter. Psst, hey government, can we still get our subsidies that we get today to improve our infrastructure? We promise we'll get right on that once you make sure that each carrier doesn't have any competition to deal with.
Thanks Bob!
