What does anyone know about this guy? I listened to some dude on NPR today lambasting him, basically saying he's the epitome of what's wrong with politics these days. The guy basically said McConnell blatantly works in favor of no limits on campaigning, plays to the lowest common denominator. He also said McConnell is abusive and manipulative with empty promises and leverages every advantage he can to push the agenda of the elite right. Supposedly he does all of this while completely blindsiding his constituents by spending his career on a perpetual political campaign. The guy bashing him said there is no evidence of McConnell ever being vocal about any issues and instead staying out of the spotlight and voting straight-line right ticket. It seems to me that there is some kind of masterfully orchestrated duping of the masses. There are insane amounts of money going into this and the investment has to be worth it. I can't help but think that the whole thing is so well researched an orchestrated that we may be beyond the point of no return. Now, people may say the same thing about Obama and I'd imagine he's a puppet to a large degree. But, I can't help but think that many of his actions were genuinely intended to benefit the greater good of the people. I don't know that I can say that for much of the right. I get why their "ideals" appeal to people and I'm all for free markets, capitalism and personable responsibility. However, it seems there are a lot of forces to play that are acting in the benefit of fucking people over than there are promoting those three ideas.

How exactly is that different than every other elected official who has been in for more than one term? They all suck this way.

When have I heard this before?

McConnell is the fuck who said, at the height of crisis, that his top priority was making Obama a one term president. He also conned those white trash morans in Kinsucky into believing that they could keep their highly popular Kynect if Obamacare were repealed. This is a deliberate lie of course sine Kynect IS Obamacare. But The author of this is a worthless piece of shit tho.
He's a fucking piece of shit, and he'd prolly be retired if his challenger this past election wasn't such a shitty candidate. If the Dem governor of Kinsucky had run, this shitstain would have been routed.
That analysis of the egregious prick was spot on.
To the broader point, yes, this nation is overrun by propaganda. If you're wicked smart liek me you can see through it, but for your average disengaged prole, the shit works. Kinda makes one empathize with 1930 s Germans

Hearing McConnell and Boehner whine about POTUS not working with them on immigration is high comedy. Here's to another 2 years of absolutely nothing getting done in DC.

How exactly is that different than every other elected official who has been in for more than one term? They all suck this way. Yet you vote for the proven worst of them time and time again. Who sucks, exactly? "lesser of two evils" eh? Admitting they both are tho? That's liek quitting before starting.

I'm not going to engage in a gunfight with some old derp armed only with a pointy stick. You should thank me for showing you mercy, fokkks boi. Your willingness to toss personal insults and to not rationally discuss the embarrassing Tammy Duckworth matter is telling, though hardly surprising. What sort of party allows one its leaders to so shamefully discriminate against a pregnant woman, one whose service to this country in Iraq left her a double amputee? And what sort of person can knowingly support such a collection of politicians? There are House rules that need to be followed. Unfortunately Nancy can't start changing the rules to accommodate everyone. It's a tough situation that Limbaugh and the ilk of Hannity have tried to question Nancy's compassion and her family values.

Cons are not exactly enamored of turtleface, either. Or Boner, for that matter. Sadly, they are what the Repubs have as leadership, which says a lot about the vacuousness of 'Murica's two-party system. Probably the best thing that can be said is both are marginally less offensive than Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, and a cut or two above the likes of Barbara "Don't call me Ma'am" Boxer, Al Franken, Dick Turdbin, Cory "I really don't live in New Jersey" Booker, , Robert "child hooker" Menendez, Di-Fi, Sheila "Mars lander" Jackson Lee and Charlie "tax cheat" Rangel. How in the FUCK are either of those two cumstains "less offensive" in any way than Al Franken? Franken is exponentially more intelligent, decent, and effective than those two goatfuckers. He's boring. He just does his job.

as I advised yesterday, pls take your epic fail back over to srs hn where you'll be among your socio-political derpmates *cough* klan rally *cough* As bad as turtleface and Boner are, I seriously doubt they would prevent a pregnant, double amputee Iraqi war vet from voting by proxy in leadership elections. I mean, I know Wino Pelosi is all pro-choice (read: don't have a babby that'll only tie you down) and anti-military and such. But at some point the Left needs to open its tent a little more to accommodate all sorts of abilities and views. WTF is up wif dat, Chux? Democrats Fume in Caucus as Duckworth Denied VoteIt was a fucking mistake by Pelosi. I'm sick of the "we can't set a precedent" bullshit. Last I checked, pregnancy isn't comparable to a cold.

I would be totes pissed if my elected rep. wasn't able to vote on my behalf because she had the audacity to procreate. And you know damn well that Hannity and Lush would have taken the counter argument had Pelosi bent the rules.
