Looks like Iowa has a good schedule to this late start. And Nebraska, LuLZ. That's what happens when you try to break an announcement early.

I love how the only league not playing is the one where the players asked for money.
Massa will spend plenty of money pretending to care about player health, but the second them boys want a share of the profits?

Massa will spend plenty of money pretending to care about player health, but the second them boys want a share of the profits? The PAC 12 teams aren't in a good financial spot. The PAC 12 has a horrendous TV deal because (a) they totally fucked their network up and (b) their games that kickoff at 10PM on the East Coast have very little market value. The whole college sportsball endeavor is a good lesson in Marxism for those young kids. Some politburo functionaries make millions and the school squanders the rest of the money in the name of "equality" under the guise of Title IX. When even diehards like me ditch fucking cable, shit is about to hit the god damned fan in the economics of college sports. When the cable numbers come in and those captive network deals are worth way less than years' past and they have to recut those ESPN deals, teams that are reliant on media rights are going to be utterly skullfucked.

They're actually getting a pretty decent lesson in capitalism right now. The capitalists are desperate to squeeze any dime they can get out of their unpaid labor, so they will force them to go shuck and jive on TV so a bunch of fat, red-faced white people can continue tying their entire identity to a school they could never afford to attend, and so a bunch of fat cat university administrators can keep paying for their tri-annual productivity retreats in Oahu.
