If we lose that one, it's gonna get ugly and our last 11 games will look like this: MD - L Illinois - L @ Purdue - L Nebraska - W @ Indiana - L @ Minnesota - L OSU - W @msu - L PSU - L Purdue - W @ Illinois - L If by some miracle we manage to beat Illinois, we will probably finish out 7-4 or so, but if we drop that one, the wheels are absolutely gonna fall off the bus. |

If we don't, we will lose handily. I just really can't stand watching Iowa play on the road in the Big Ten. The team is too young, but I think we have some ballers on this team who might be able to put together a decent tourney run at some point. Maybe. Given human population growth and death, over one-half of the people currently living on Earth were not alive the last time Iowa made it to the second weekend of the fucking tournament. Think about that, bud. |

I should have stopped right then and there. I saw their record later and tricked myself into watching Nebraska. Then, I watched the game last night. Maybe I am the fucking jinx. When they get ranked, I feel obligated to watch. This will be the first ranked matchup between Iowa and Illinois in damned near a decade and a half so I gotta watch that one. After that I will take a hiatus until the conference tourney, where I'm sure Fran will make sure we don't play in a weekend game. |

Please tell me you didn't watch the game yesterday. Watched until 3rd TV timeout of first half. Turned back on with about 8 to go tied at 52. Promptly turned off and then watched end on DVR after checking score and seeing that we won. I am definitely the jinx. Agreed. Please just watch the games on the DVR from now on. |

I turned on the Minnesota game while waiting for the Daytona 500 to start. Tie game, something like 8 minutes to go. Immediate 8-0 Minnesota run. I immediately flipped it to pre-race coverage to watch the President. Checked score at 5 and we won!
