I'm set for a few months at least of leisurely bugging in. By the time fall and winter arrive I'll probably start cannibalizing people once venison and rabbits run out....

I typically lean toward the side of the media being overly alarmist. This might not kill a lot of people and warmer weather will probably stall it, but I just drafted a force majeure notice over a client's supply chain getting fucked because they have zero employees reporting to work in Shanghai. This is going to shred the fucking economy. Absolutely shred it. I had over 90% confidence in Trump getting re-elected a week ago barring "provisional ballots" or other DNC fuckery, but I now think it's well under 50% because he ain't gonna be able to run on the economy and robust asset markets by the fall. The reverberations through the supply chain are going to be fucking epic. When the Japanese close the schools for a month, risk is insanely high. My 86 year old father in law was relocated to northern Japan and went to school every day when B-29s were flinging napalm over Tokyo. Hell, a material percentage of the people who perished at Hiroshima were kids on their way to school because of the timing of the drop. In the middle of an existential war. I had a buddy in school in Kobe when that monster earthquake hit in the 90's and they only got a few days off while they inspected infrastructure. Those guys are ripshit terrified if they closed the schools for a month. They're pretty alarmist... Is sensationalizing world news events though the same thing as claiming literally any and every possible criticism of an elected leadership position false, no matter how demonstrably true? Anyone have proof of trump taking responsibility for a mistake or misstep since he entered office? Even one?

However, now the weasel has an excuse for a haircut not based on the economy based as a whole.

Exactly. I didn’t buy this. My husband did. He told me how much he spent and proceeded to tell me what he purchased. I would have bought things that would have made meals. He starts out by telling me he bought a case of corn. My daughter and I said “corn?” He doesn’t eat corn. We might eat 4 cans of corn in a year. Then two huge containers of mayo and about 4 gallons of olive oil. 6 super larges jars of peaches. A bunch of tuna. Anybody got any recipes?

But yeah, what you gonna make with all that? Buy cheap rice side dish stuff at Wally world. The cheap stuff that you just add water too basically and boil. Sauce packets and some canned vegetables would go a long way with rice. Canned chicken, tuna, etc. Guess you could make peach and peanutbutter smoothies? Tell Dave I asked whar cake vodka is? You need something to barter with, I.e., poison cake vodka that you know will lay the person low long enough to steal their stuff.

CliffsNotes version, pls. I sucked in college. If you clicked the tweet, it opens up and you can read more tweets, 14 in all, that describe transmission and transmission rates, who’s more likely to die, etc.
