Of course not.
WWE barely even pretends to be real anymore. I like old school wrestling where they actually used to announce it like it was a sporting event and portray it as a sporting event. Now it's all a show.
The last time it was really good was back in the late 90's. I watched WCW back then. They had a good mix of the soap opera stuff and the sporting event stuff. It's almost all entertainment these days.

My prediction.....Punk couldn't go last weekend for some reason...enter the Randy Orton storyline. Punk ready to go Monday night and he beats Y2J in the steel cage to reclaim the belt. It is either that or.....something else happens.

My prediction, they wanted to test the waters with Punk as champ and give him a main event push. They also wanted to temporarily end HBK's feud with Jericho, but keep Jericho's momentum going. So they give him the belt. Punk will now feud with Rhodes, DiBiase, and Orton, while Michaels takes a break and Jericho hangs out in the ME. Then Michaels comes back from his break to continue their feud into Wrestlemania, where Jericho takes on HBK for the belt. Possible HBK Royal Rumble win for the right to go to WM main event. I'm probably way off on that, but whatever. At least it's halfway interesting right now.
Geez, we watch too much of this sh*t huh? Oh well, it's the only TV I watch beside the occasional football game and at least it's live.

Yea, I think it's the most entertaining 2 hours of evening tv going. Also, good family time as my son and daughter like it as well. My wife...not so much.

Triple H is the champ on Smackdown, the WWE Champ. It's confusing, but there's a champ on each show. ECW, Smackdown, and RAW... Matt Hardy is the ECW champ now btw. Triple H may look the part, but I get tired of him. Plus, he's Vince's son in law and basically can do whatever he wants and people will listen. He's a 12-time world champ now... if he wants to break Flair's record, he can and he probably will. But Hunter Hearst Helmsley is 1/10th the wrestler Ric Flair was, IMO. Holy crap! This IS confusing. So it seems like CM Punk once being the champ of ECW (or whatever) is kinda like being the Story County Pork Queen?
