Why did they bring it back? If it's good enough to bring back every three months every year for the last five or 6 years... leave it on the menu.
This thing has actually been around since 1981. You would think that would be enough time to get a good idea of the market demand for this sammich.
I've tried it and think it's okay. Certainly as good as their other sammiches.
Discuss.

I got one last Thursday and it had very little BBQ sauce on it. I was sad.

I'm just confused on why they would take it off the menu and then bring it back... seemingly every few months.
WTF??

The McRib is just like Brett Favre....it can't make up its mind to stay retired or make a comeback.

I have been told, and i am not sure where, that they have a limited supply of whatever material that crap sandwich is made of.
So, they have to "save up" the Ribs or whatever to a point where they can put it on the menu nation/worldwide for a month or two.
When the supply of "Ribs" is exhausted, then they take it off the menu and start to stock pile the "ribs" again.
Just what I have heard.

Our school serves a "rib" sandwich that is very similar every other or every third week...I get my fill during the school year.

The McRib patty can be purchased in the freezer section of your local Aldi's.
