Here is a map to the tailgate spot for those of you who are geographically challenged. Come down the pavement about 20 feet, then you'll see a gravel driveway veering off to your left (parallel to the railroad tracks). Head down that path about 50 feet or so and you'll see an entrance with some port-o-potties. Take a left and we're right there about 20 paces. White Toyota Highlander. Look for this old fart "SOB" and you're in the right place.

Cosign. I suspect the old SOB probably had a few too many of these when he drew that map. Heck, looks like something off the back of a Captain Crunch box

No wonder I had trouble finding the place. This is the map Seth gave me last time: You have that allllllll hosed up Itheus. That's the 'route' you took when the Kinnick Per Mar rent-a-cop told you to walk a straight line during your sobriety test. ;D

Egads....that picture proves two things...
#1--You always think you look better than you do, and #2--I have a face only a mother could love!
With that said, you should have seen it 30 pounds ago...I had more chins than a chinese phonebook.

Now where the hell was that thing a week and a half ago? jk Just past the brick 3 story house on the right side of the map beneath the word Melrose there is a gravel road with about 2,000 people partying on it along with a band. Normally I am not "geographically challenged" like that, hell I drove in down town Miami for a week with little to no problem but I can't find my way around my own damn state? Itheus, that map is the shit. Good one.

Matta!....you jumping in that John Deere and coming down from Belmond this Saturday? I'd leave tomorrow afternoon just to leave yourself a little time to get here AND find the spot. The reason we were coming down Saturday, aside from partying with you guys, was because my stubborn ass family was having a B-day party for my grandmother saturday at noon. They do it every year and we are "forced" to choose between the game and her party. So last week we decided to say screw it, lets go to the game. Well then my wife came up with the idea yesterday to say that we were going to her dads in New Hampton for his B-day, the 25th of september, which we told her so we were free and clear to go to IC. Well we started thinking about it and it would most likely be a $200 day with gas/food/tix so we kind of decided tonight that now that we are free and clear to stay home, long as we hide the van, we can watch the game and save some cash. Long story short, we're not coming. So it looks like we have had our full of FB games for the year but if you guys ever get together in Des Moines let me know.

Of course the beer got her a little "excited" on the way home. Needless to say we hit a gravel road about 20 miles south of IC. Reilly, yeah, unfortunately we are kind of "obligated" to save money. The people in my town had a benefit for me on Sunday and with all the belmond people that go to them games we don't want to piss anyone off going to Iowa games and spending cash they raised for us. Not a big deal, i'm usually pretty happy if we hit one a year.
