"Palin has vehemently denied cheating on her husband, and Hanson insisted to The NATIONAL ENQUIRER that he was never romantically involved with the 44-year-old Republican vice presidential candidate."....so much for the (almost) October Surprise.

Didn't Clinton say something similar??? Edit: Perhaps Congress should assign a special prosecutor to spend $21 million dollars investigating...

McLame wants the debate cancelled because he and Praylin are going to get p3wned. Clinton (Bill that is) was on the Today show and said he didn't think McCain was trying to duck the debate since he wanted to have more of them in the first place.

McLame's numbers have been going down since the economy has really gone in the shitter. His plan to "postpone" (i.e. cancel) the debates so he can go to Washington and unite the Congress and administration so they can help out Joe Q. Public is tactical at best.

No......actually Bill is right. It wasn't McCain who refused to have any of the town hall debates that were proposed. That was Husssein. Husssein is much more comfortable debating softball questions thrown his way by the mainstream media.

The real question is will the debates go down tonight and if it doesn't who will look better?
Obama for saying it should go on and presidents have to deal with more then one thing at a time?
OR
McCain that said getting the $700 billion economics package finalized is more important then the debate right now.
I really can see both sides and both are important.

Honestly, I don't buy the "presidents have to deal with more than one thing at a time" in this situation. They may be campainging to be president but they still have jobs to do in the senate. If that means they need to be working on the economics package then they should be doing that. The debate can be done later.

From a guy that 7 just days before suspending his campaign said the "Fundamentals of the economy are strong"..... to the bi-polar opposite? He's been in office 26 years, and has the 2nd least votes in the current congress (behind a guy that had a brain aneurysm). This is also the guy that thought it was more important to talk about comparing his opponent to Paris Hilton... and saying his opponent's "only accomplishment was legislation that taught comprehensive sex-ed to kindergartners". He can say what he wants, but his actions speak the absolute opposite. Heck, even the "suspension of his campaign" was utter BS.
