I was at my old college buddies wedding up in Okoboji this weekend. They had a real nice wedding and reception and we all got bombed. Around 1:30 in the morning I was walking around the hotel with a cooler on wheels stocked with Fat Tire bottles and somehow got into a conversation with one of the Mexican dudes who worked there. I'm not exactly sure how it happened but the dude and I went via the maintenence elevator to the basement of the bulding an there were around 50 or more Mexicans living in this tiny ass room. It was surreal as hall hell, being drund and seeing that many people stuffed in a tiny room like some underground railroad type shit. I had no idea that this type of thing even existed. There were literally 50 or more Mexicans living underneath the hotel. I don't know if you guys have heard of this kind of thing and if you have please tell your stories. It was honestly some of the wierdest shit I have ever seen. It was really strange this morning eating breakfast and being served by a couple of the same people, knowing there were about 10 or more Mexican families underneath you, scraping to get by. I was down there for about half an hour, they were playing music and we were singing songs and that. I'm still in somewhat of a state of shock from the whole thing.

So did you see this and go back upstairs, or did you hang around for a bit?

So did you see this and go back upstairs, or did you hang around for a bit? I hung out for about half an hour or so. There were kids, old people and everything.

I know there were some Hispanics that got busted in Perry for living underground a few years ago. Some cops found a blanket on the ground that was covering a hole that led to their "house".

Not that I don't feel bad for them and the situation they are in but can you say, I N S ? Yes, your empathy is overwhelming..... As one of my favorite comedians said (to paraphrase)... "If you are worried about some dude that: doesn't speak english, has no formal education, had to crawl / walk hundreds or thousands of miles often with nothing but a bottle of water, and (are obviously) forced to live in less than desirable conditions... will take your job --- You don't deserve to have a fucking job."

Not concerned so much about the job aspect. However, Massachusetts spent $500,000,000 (that's millions for you Socal) on supporting illegal immigrants with welfare programs. The Governor said no more as it is basically driving them bankrupt and either cut or is trying to cut them off. I say go for it. You want to let them all in? Fine, I am sure you have no problem opening up your house and "supporting" them bince your such a good samaritan, right?

Massachusetts spent $500,000,000 Chump change... Heck, the Bush administration shipped over $12,000,000,000 (that's Billions matta) in the form of 363 TONS of cash to Iraq & lost it without a receipt. And Mr. "Festoon", just cast his vote for a bill that supplied over $112,000,000,000 (Billions again) in non-"Bailout" money in addition to the $700,000,000,000 (Billions) "Bailout" bill. PS - Nice non-attribution (backing up your statement with evidence matta). Should we also expect numbers from you touting the lack of / prevalence of dingleberries around Uranus? (This should be easy for you, as you ARE known as one that always has ironclad arguments & facts... you're kind of a Maverick in that way)

You should have asked if they had extra space because that is where most Americans might have to live thanks to the new "bailout" vote.

(This should be easy for you, as you ARE known as one that always has ironclad arguments & facts... you're kind of a Maverick in that way) You know socal you can use that argument maybe half a dozen times and it makes sense. After that it just makes you look stupid bince you have nothing else to talk about. Of course Mccain signed the bill. You probably don't remember this thread bince your brain don't work normally like most folks but here goes. A while back, maybe say in late August we were having this little conversation on here about how politicians of one party or another add on pork to a popular piece of legislation because they know it will pass. A piece of legislation such as say the bailout just passed. Now here is the tricky part so pay attention please. I don't want to lose you here. If Mccain votes no then osama says, well Mccain don't care about the average american, Mccain wants the US to go into a depression, he wants people to lose their businesses/houses etc. So Mccain votes for it. Do you understand? Do I need to spend a little more time on it for you? Let me know and I would be more than happy to help if you can't comprehend the subject matter. As I recall out of the half dozen people contributing to the thread you are the only one that didn't get it back then so I am taking a BIG chance that you will get it now. As far as dingleberries around uranus? It is impossible to tell what is growing around Uranus as you probably aren't capable of pulling a reach around to wipe your ass. I'm guessing some type of fungus? As far as the article, I looked and nothing came up. The Globe Gazette or Des Moines Register, sometime this past spring in the front page section of the paper. Page 3 if memory serves me correct, and it usually does. Feel free to look bince I don't waste no more than 15-20 minutes on any particular subject pertaining to you.

Unfortunately, compassion and empathy are traits that are not found in the majority of Americans. Good quote though. Is that Carlin? "They took our jobs!"
