Bince I spend nearly all of my waking moments thinking about Iowa football basketball, would this procedure erase all of my memories from the years 2006 and 2007?

That would be optimal.
I'm hoping with this technology, they can go in reverse so I can recall some memories...

Well no, that would not be optimal erase all memories from those years, I think I may have had carnal relations once during that time period. That's the great thing, is that it's selective memory erasing. You can remember your relations in forget about football. THAT is the optimal piece.

But what if I was thinking about football during the relations? That's my question. If I was, then won't I forget the relations, too?

That's an excellent question. I would say your ultimate problem was thinking about football during relations. If it was that boring, maybe it wouldn't be that valuable of a memory?

What if you accidentially thought about the alphabet while trying to erase a bad memory?

I would imagine you would be safe as long as you weren't learning the alphabet when your memory was erased. Because you would simply be recalling something that was learned (hand) already.
