I always thought it was Sunday... I am being told it's Saturday night and that 7th day adventists are the only ones who celebrate it correctly. I Wiki'ed it and it appears there are several diff. "Sabbaths".

In the Jewish tradition, Saturday is the Sabbath. Christians moved it to Sunday for some reason...I don't remember exactly why.

Christians moved it to Sunday for some reason...I don't remember exactly why. It's because the Hawks play on Saturdays. No one would show up for church if it were on Saturday.

If you want to get technical, the Sabbath is the 7th day. I tend to think of Friday as the 7th day so that I don't have to do anything at work. I sometimes wonder if my boss agrees.
