Mortgage backed securities are like boxes of chocolates.
Bad men on Wall Street stole took some of the chocolates and replaced them with turds.
Their buddies rated those boxes with the turds as really good chocolates even though they were turds.
Those turd chocolates were sold all over the world .
Eventually somebody bit into one and found out it wasn't chocolate at all.
It was a turd.
Purty soon people started not trusting anything in a chocolate box.
Now the government wants the taxpayers to buy up all them boxes of turd chocolates.
I don't know why they don't do something about the bad men who put the turds in the boxes.
Mama always said: 'Sniff the chocolates, Forrest, sniff!'
And that's all I've got to say about this
