Part 1 - Thanksgiving Dinner.
Part 2 - Things you're thankful for.
Me:
Part 1 - Mom rolling to Chicago, I'm fixing up turkey, potatoes (undecided how they will be prepped), sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, burn n serve rolls, stuffin' (Stove Top, not cooked in bird) and a dish or two to be named later. Mom is bringing a pumpkin and a freedom silk pie.
Part 2 - Damn near everything in my life.

Part 1 - I'm actually going to try to cook the bird and all the dishes at my house. My dad may be coming up, not sure what I will do with my mom yet (they are divorced).
Part 2 - Cosign BTR. Nearly everything I have in my life.

1- I'm having Thanksgiving for the first time with the kindergarten teacher's family. Not sure what the staples of their meal are, but I've been volunteered already to do the greenbean cassarole, so they've got to be doing the good stuff.
2- Again, pretty much everything in my life. Specifically the complete 180 my love life has taken this year.

1- Go home then go to townie bar in tiny Barnes City then go home and sleep on my ma's couch, wake up slightly hungover.
2- The big family gathering with Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Siblings. Eat a crapload of food then play cards for a several hours over beers and good conversation (we play Pepper, which is about as Iowan as card games can get). I usually poke fun at my 92 year old grandma, who is a pretty good sport.

With a name like Barnes City, how could the town not be popping?

1. I have no idea...I don't even know where we're having a Thanksgiving or if we're even having one. Holiday's have just turned really stressful as it seems I get pulled three different directions, and inevitably piss somebody off. Considering going down and working at a soup kitchen to avoid the mayhem.
2. Not having to be served at a soup kitchen. More importantly, friends and family (even if the family can be overbearing at times).

1. I will be at my in-laws for lunch and maybe my parent's later in the day.
2. I have received many blessings in the past year with my family, friends, and career. I am thankful for everything (good and bad) that happens.

I have 4 different Thanksgivings to do so it's hard to say with what and whom. My dads side wants to have TG dinner at the HyVee cafeteria, I'm thinking, NOT. I'll be making an excuse to get out of that one.
1) that being said, I am sure we will have the usual turkey, stuffing etc at the others.
2) I am alive, so far, have a beautiful wife, three beautiful girls a roof over my head. It would be sweet if I find out next week that this friend of mine is going to loan me a kidney. What a Thanksgiving that will/could be.

We have family coming home. A fuck I can almost wait. My sister that bitches for now reason and her husband that tells stupid and annoying stories that we don;t hardly even care to listen to. Everyone will be over from my family, Probably invite my Grandmother as well.
Having thanksgiving dinner at my house. Basically it. Other then the annoyance of my family : ) Just kidding.

The fiance and I are driving down to Wichita with my dad and my brothers to attend a dinner with my Mom's family. It should be interesting to say the least. I encouraged my dad to go as it re-inforces the "we're still family" sentiment.
And then it's back to work. Judge denied my motion to dismiss, my motion for sanctions and my motion for continuance, so I have trial on Monday. So I'm thankful for job security and pretty much everything in my life.
