I was unaware that such a thing even existed.

So, I was daydreaming at my desk today when my thoughts drifted to the elusive bloodfart. I remembered this thread from last year, and decided that further discussion about this controversial subject matter is in order. Anything new in the world of bloodfarts that anyone would like to bring up and/or discuss? I have something to discuss: I know there is a specialized field within forensics dedicated to blood-stain pattern analysis (BPA). For lack of a better term, I’ll call them blood-stain pattern analysts. Do you think there is enough demand to create the need for a sub-specialist in that field? Someone who strictly investigates/analyzes bloodfart-stain patterns? Also, when police come across a “Crime Scene” with lots of blood, but no body, how often are these scenes misclassified as homicide/crime scenes, when in fact the entire situation can be explained due to a massive bloodfart? If you think about this logically, it is entirely possible that these occur more often then you think. You’re out and about, a night on the town, and you duck into some secluded room to let one rip. Whoops …. you’ve just bloodfarted. Blood farts tend to be quite explosive in nature, so the area in question could quite easily be confused with a homicide. Naturally, you are not going to stick around to explain it, thus only deepening the mystery. Hmmm, I think I may be on to something here.
