Nice. I would love to be a fly on the wall when he walks into the police station and asks for his bag of pot back.
Sadly, I think it's going to be quite a while before Iowa even comes close to legalizing pot in any form (medicinal use or other). It's too bad. How sweet it would be to openly roast some nugs outside of Kinnick on a sweet autumn Saturday, without fear of the Gestapo IC Police Department.

Hate to break up your little stoner party, but the denial of cert by the Supreme Court has no precedential value - it is not the SCOTUS affirming a lower court ruling, it is merely a sign they are too damn busy (actually lazy) to hear the case - they'll go after the hippies again. The hippies will NOT win. The federal government that you hippies vest so much faith in will soon flex its muscle again and reiterate its supremacy to regulate wholly local ativities that create no externalities and that were democratically adopted. There is no more noble activity for the political class than criminalizing everything in sight and then selectively enforcing those rules. We have tried freedom and it has failed.

We have tried freedom and it has failed. Care to expand on this piece? I'm not sure what you mean in the context of the paragraph. The war on drugs is a huge waste on taxpayer money. It has and will fail.

BTR, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
