Yeah, that sucked. As much as I hate losing to the 'Cats, I don't mind seeing 'em win. I have a lot of friends who went to NU and they're all pretty solid people. But god damn it, the Hawks should NEVER lose to a private school that wears purple in revenue generating sports.

Agreed...I always go for the Big Ten in bowl games, except Illinois.
As a conference, NW beating Mizzou would have been big. Could be an UGLY Bowl record this year.

NW screwed that one big time. Pat was playing not to lose at the end of the game. Also how do you not find a way to get the ball to your best player in OT? ? Who here thinks Minny will put up a fight against KU?

Who here thinks Minny will put up a fight against KU? I was thinking the same thing after NW battled Mizzou hard. Outside of Iowa, I think the Goofers have the best chance to win their game.

Everybody is passing the PSU game off as a loss, including ESPN. I think it will be a better game than people think. I know USC has an awesome defense, but I think PSU can give them a run.
Maybe OSU can pull off an upset of Texas. That would be sweet.

I don't see the Big Ten winning another bowl game this years (sans Iowa).

As good as USC(carroll) does in bowl games, JoePa does just as good. His record in bowl games is awesome. On the surface I don't think PSU has a chance against USC but I would never count out PSU in a big game.

USC and Penn State have very similar losses...teams that seem to have their number and have a great running game this year. I think PSU has a shot in this one. USC always comes out motivated and at the top of their game, so they'd better be ready to rumble at 3:30 Thursday afternoon.
