news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090108/ap_on_re_us/train_station_shootingVideo: Better angle and closer to it: My opinion: Coming from the law enforcement side of things, having worn a badge (I was a reserve, and went through many hours of training to be one) and all the tools, there is absolutely NO WAY you should mistake your gun for a taser. NO WAY. I was in many heated moments, and fought with a few, and I can say with 100% certainty, that I would have known I was pulling my gun and not a taser, even in the heat of the moment. This man should be charged with some type of negligent homicide, and if he isn't something is wrong. That is just plain un-acceptable. It appears to be just plain stupidity that caused this officer to kill this man, and that is very unfortunate. Thoughs? If this was a black officer and a black victim, would this get the press it is? What about a black officer and a white victim?

That is just not good. The cop deserves to spend some time behind bars. Minimum negligent homicide, possibly murder 2. JMO. Maybe they can clean up the video a little, move in a little closer. IDK.
